  1. Wow, u had the same goal as I do. LOLLY ROFFLES
  2. Just because it has no mass or no volume doesn't mean it isn't there. Aren't photons supposed to be point-particles?
  3. A link would be nice. I want one too.
  4. It depends on when you are talking about. The Greeks and Romans knew it. The Europeans didn't until they rediscovered the ancient classical Greek and Roman text.
  5. We can barely detect really massive planets. What about terrestrial planets or comets and asteroids.
  6. That makes me want to buy a Furby.
  7. Sealab2021 is really really stupid. It is too stupid to be so stupid that it is funny.
  8. haha, r u a sophist?
  9. The Stargate thing is an Egyptian version of the Greek Gods spoken of in this thread.
  10. The cross pollination and stargate were two different thoughts. Hence, seperate paragraphs.
  11. Brain sized does not matter. What makes people more whatever is the number of connections which is determined primarily during infancy. Maybe the psychic gene does more than just give you psychic abilities. It could also make you sterile. That would explain the lack of "psychics." I think everyone is a little psychic. Everyone I know has answered the door before someone knocked or the phone before it rang at least once. And we sometimes can read each other's minds. I have a friend that can tell you exactly what you are thinking. He said a doctor told him it had a medical name. I forgot what it was though.
  12. What makes you think that the alien gametes are compatible with human gametes? What makes you think they even reproduce in the same way we do? Maybe you watched the Stargate movie too many times.
  13. lmfao, that is so funny. Shouldn't this be in the pseudoscience forum?
  14. That really old video game? Asteroids, maybe.
  15. Tachyons don't have negative mass. They have imaginary mass.
  16. Q: How do heavy objects rest on a table without its molecules giving way, collapsing the table? A: Science has no viable explanation for this today. This mystery is similar to the mystery of the fridge magnet. Atomic bonds are said to result from electromagnetic energy attracting and holding atoms together. Yet, there is no denying that tremendous ongoing energy expenditure is required to hold the structure of a table together under the weight of a heavy object. Where does this energy come from? How quickly does this subatomic power source drain as it expends all this energy? Today's science has no explanation for this everyday occurrence, so such questions are never discussed. What happened to Electromagnetism being multitudes stronger than gravity?
  17. I will be the only Junior in my physics course this fall. The rest will be seniors. I suppose my calculus course wouldn't hurt in making the equations.
  18. On Stargate: Atlantis (Don't watch it. It was more stupid than the original), they went to another galaxy. The trip required more power than before, so they used a Zero Point Module. Maybe they were talking about this : http://www.cheniere.org/ .

    Euthenasia?

If I am paralized or need to take several medications to stay alive, then I would want to be killed, so I voted yes.
  20. I thought sides had to be flat.
  21. Faces of Death IS real.
  22. No, there are zero-spheres, one-spheres, and two-spheres. How could the mathematics moderator not know that?
  23. What kind of sphere are you talking about. It doesn't matter. I would say B or C depending on how you interpret it.
  24. The highest mathematics training i have had is Algebra II in high school. I need help extracting some equations for this thread: http://www.scienceforums.net/forums/showthread.php?p=66913#post66913 . If someone could teach me how to or do it for me, it would be apprecciated.
  25. Did I not say, that this isn't done yet? The Big Bang only comes from following the expansion backwards to one point. With this, there doesn't have to be a Big Bang. How would I extract the math for this to test it?
