I think too, but I test with my aqua regia with 3:1 HCl : HNO3 Commercial grade and wait 24 Hr For Emitted gas It's corrode but I can't break or crack

It use about 3-5 Minute , Do you think aqua regia can change structure of iron nails, it not only corrode ?

To day, My aunt he's told me to show something, and he lift a breaker 100 mL with yellow solution and he heat it in few minute and he put iron nail 4" in it and wait for 3-5 Minute then he take iron nail up form yellow solution and clean it with water then he can break it ? I can confirm the iron nail is real My question : What solution be !? Aqua regia ? I think it is base on science please help me
