  1. That is false. If by animal protein you mean B12, it's made in bacteria. That's how animals get it. So can we. It's simple. Look at what is required by humans on a daily basis. Then look at the nutritional value in vegetarian food sources. Everything can be acquired, easily. There is nothing humans can't get in a vegetarian diet that they can get in one including meat. There are no advantages. Arguably, just detriments with eating meat- E.G. red meat. Like in the article I shared.
  2. A. Humans can most definitely survive without ingesting any animal flesh at all. B. In addition to that, red meat in one's diet can even be viewed as harmful. It increases likelihood of breast cancer, CVD, cancer, etc. So, it's up to you to decide. To me, 2+2=4.
  3. No. Fruit bats have canine teeth.
  4. http://archinte.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/full/archinternmed.2011.2287 Just wanted to put this here since it was published today and is relevant to my previous posts.
  5. Been there too. Just not with Alzheimer's. Anyway, watched this documentary recently. It definitely shook me. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=bxQYTFIZi8A http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxQYTFIZi8A I think they only accept the terminally ill. But I think in the future it will be more lax. If a physically healthy person wants to commit suicide, and signs a series of agreements over say the course of two years, why not?
  6. I think assisted suicide is necessary. I'm sure in the future it will be legal in more places around the world. Suicidal feelings could be a temporary state of mind. But that's why I believe organizations like Dignitas have people sign agreements over a period of time. They also assess the person to make sure they have "sound judgement".
  7. I rip out the pages and make origami, or christmas ornaments. Sometimes snowflakes.
  8. Would that be more beneficial than just giving the vaccine to infected humans and doing away with the feeders?
  9. HAHA what in the hell! .... just... ignore that... I don't know what happened here....
  10. some questions. 1. Surely, at least one of the mosquitoes drawn to this bait would be infected, and might possibly transfer disease to the bait. It would turn into a cesspool, where EVERY pregnant mosquito would be guaranteed to transmit a disease. 2. If the bait is poisoned, then a lot of pregnant mosquitoes would die, dwindling the population very quickly. And how would this affect the ecosystem? 3. If the bait isn't poisoned, then perhaps a lot more mosquitos would survive than now. I'm sure a lot die because they can't find a supplier of blood. This might encourage their survival. There would be a lot more mosquitos flying around, some would surely find humans regardless, and we might just end up infecting more humans anyway.
  11. Okay, I understand. Thanks for the response.
  12. That I did.
  13. nice try. by "crazy theists" i was expressing how a lot of atheists view theists. i could be considered a theist. if you actually read my posts youd take note of that.
  14. http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/21733330 milk is not a meat product vegetarian ≠ vegan
  15. Humans don't need meat to survive. Anything from meat can be found in a vegetarian diet. No, cooking takes away nutrients, if anything. Also, mooey, remember that one time you got food poisoning? That wasn't from broccoli, was it?
  16. All UFO sightings are most likely aircraft built by humans.
  17. Um, what?
  18. I see no difference. A creator doesn't have to be human-like, nor must it have anything to do with any religion on this planet. It's just responsible for our universe. Whether you deem this explanation scientific, or religious, is not my problem. Also, it seems a little ignorant to regard all scientists as atheists. It's theists vs. atheists, not theists vs. scientists.
  19. Does that mean we should be nature's slave? I don't see toilets sprouting up in the woods. But without septic systems we'd all be dead.
  20. That is absolutely wrong.
  21. There is no missing evidence. The evidence is our universe.
  22. Do they leave behind any evidence of their existence? No. But there is evidence that's unaccounted for. Like our finite universe and why it began. So it's a free for all until we can answer a few questions. P.S.- It's entertaining to watch when atheists all team up to battle the crazy theists, not realizing they're doing exactly what they claim to be against.
  23. That's an even worse argument.
  24. Definitely don't eat it. Gross.
