http://www.popsci.com/science/article/2012-02/boy-who-played-fusion "...Kenneth [Taylor's father] feels the weight coming down on him again. What he doesn’t understand just yet is that he will come to look back on these days as the uncomplicated ones, when his scary-smart son was into simple things, like rocket science..." Worth a read, I think, pretty crazy, too many areas worth citing. -That is, if it isn't already covered somewhere around here and a fair bit of semi-interesting conversation follows in comments.

The bulk of your issues here would seem to point you in the direction of finding yourself a narrowed assortment of reliable engineering forums, there are many. Make yourself at home in a couple of those and they'll help you toward decent, *relevant* freeware. Looking at that sorta thing might at least tamp down some of the energy, while putting it to use getting a little ahead.--Meaning, you'd mentioned reverse engineering, and so you're obviously already on the right path.

Bet the one on the right is Rayleigh. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rayleigh_scattering Unfinished crosswords drive me *crazy.* ~Also, what if the one at left is diffusion, what of its connecting partner then, can you think of anything other than VCSEL?

hahA, I puzzled at that one myself some weeks back, particularly annoying.

Well, I, for one, am rooting for your having the emerald valentine gem of a boyfriend but all sorts of pranks go on in dorms, many of them even handed down, specific to the history of a particular dorm. google 'dorm pranks'-haha http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-life/233254-dorm-pranks.html -This link even illustrates photo pranking... Perhaps the ole picture slipped under the door in an envelope-for mysterious posterity, that being unnecessary:)-is a favorite of your dorm? Some of the favorite prankings of all time are played out on the girl who doesn't know anyone in the dorm yet at that, I wouldn't be too taken in by it. But you did question the boyfriend, why was that? kidding However, green isn't your favorite color or anything, is it? And the Einstein quote smacks of the twoendedness in the one on your desktop, are you an Einstein fan, particularly or had that quote been a random one day appreciation of yours? Any wooded, natural area near the dorm whatsover?lol This place looks like regardless what they come up with for you, it should prove an entertainment; if you do try it out on them, you'll let us know, won't you? http://www.killerstartups.com/Video-Music-Photo/idthis-org-recognize-any-image-you-can-imagine

Ah, here it is, yeah, that's a shadowdude taking a picture. Batmandude:D, actually, not Superman, you're kidding me, right?-The shadow to left, vertically is of a thin popple tree or the like, in front of a larger oak and nearby some vinery, bramble. It's a beautiful light refracting emerald crystal sapphire ( known to create it's own play with water surface tension ) strung from a thin gauge hemp twine and hung over a hematite rich type water source known to the sapphire ( and known to have its own characteristic surface film ) and using a pole, as suggested here... http://arch.ced.berkeley.edu/hiddenecologies/?p=246

No shortage of theories, especially in an information era, a digital age and, while that does throw some more interest on the scene, it certainly does clog the arteries of the verifiable to a fault. Of course, people spend every effort to fortify whatever they're pushing, and not just in the interest of foulplay/'idle hands' but well meaning, misled curiosity. It does make the wading through it all to get to the actual value a bit of a trudge but no way around it, only shortcuts in being, well, reserved. You did reserve judgment, you brought it here in curious question, so you're on the right path. There are any number of translators, Google Translate is decent, if I remember, correctly, though I did have some trouble last time I used it. There's a site translating tool as well, probably many, but I can't recall a name, searching that oughta do it well enough though. Uh..and apparently I had pleasure of timing in meeting with the bottom of this thread exactly with our heady friend, Illul, here, lol. P.S, abskee Meant to suggest you go have a good long look here in the Speculations and Rational skepticisms forums, having a look around the trash bin couldn't hurt either. I mean it will familiarize you with just how difficult it is to manage through all that trudging I mentioned.

This one's neat, if you wait a sec...well, you, actually about 30 of them, if you'd like to kick it ahead... Godzilla meets Japan, also cool, awfully grainy & old now but still worth a quick viewing ... A neat hologram demo, also old but interesting... You'll also want to scroll ahead here, it's a yawner 'til about 2:15 into it.

Actually, I was just coming back in to edit in I'd only wanted to add it in to the discussion I saw here days ago rooted in the complex reality behind what we see and what actually is, if that's alright, a tangent thread would probably be best though. And, really, it was just something I thought interesting I stumbled on en route to something else in the advancements within thought projection. But, honestly, is there a prerequisite I should have an abiding interest in an in-depth discussion on everything I post?-I couldn't readily spot that thread, iNow, but some area covered in these regarding synapse is relative, there's my big qualifier, you just happened here on it the instant I posted it.

Ever see this?.. The 'Mindflex'-thought/concentration projection game Another similar is floating around out there, called the Mindwave.

It did have some real comic potential, especially with the scenario reversed, without anything offered first in the area of physical attributes.
