hey guys, I'm currently doing first year of university and I was just wondering what the pros and cons are of having pre-marital sex? now I don't usually think about these things too much and I'm not one of those sex addicts you see on television documentaries or anything but recently I have become sexually aroused more often and thinking about it more than usual for some reason. This has got me going... What are some strong reasons for two people to remain virgins before marriage? And overall, do these sorts of marriages last longer than marriages between non-virgin participants who want to get married? I always thought I would be a virgin until after I get married but there are so many opportunities when you're young and I think rejecting these opportunites may be something that I could possibly regret later on. Should I try to get as much sex as possible while I'm still young or wait another 6-7 years until I get married? I have heard of people describing one's virginity as the ultimate gift that you can give to your spouse and the ultimate gift that they can give to you. So having premarital sex is like opening your Christmas present too early. You want to wait so you can enjoy Christmas day. If you lose your viginity before Christmas day, then you will have a miserable Christmas. Am I right? Also, for the woman, is it true that sex is very painful for them (i.e. when the hymen is broken for the first time)? I have heard lots of blood can come out and I'm scared. What is the best thing to do if lots of blood keeps coming out? Can a woman die from having pre-marital sex? And how can you tell if a guy is a virgin? Also, to everyone on SFN, when did you guys lose your virginities and what are your experiences with sex? How does it feel? What are the pros and cons? Do the pros outweigh the cons? Or not? I am a youth seeking guidance. What sort of relationship with the opposite sex should I seek? Should it be a committed relationship? What would you recommend if I am seeking to be emotionally/physically intimate with the opposite sex? Are you sure about that? I heard that in Islam being a homosexual is not a sin (unlike in Christianity) but it's rather just the act of performing sodomy that's sinful. You don't have to be a homosexual to perform sodomy, so they're not necessarily anti-homosexual either. For example if a guy gets the urge to rape his little brother but refrains, then he has committed no sin as no action was committed.

I was just wondering wondering whether this is actually true or whether they were just teasing. well, is it true that calcium is bad for your skin? If so, how? Okay, so there's a lot of pornography online now. Impossible to protect all our children, family and others from exposure. You WILL be affected by it somehow, either directly or indirectly. Husbands are cheating on their wives and wives are cheating on their husbands and now it's becoming more socially acceptable and the norm in some places particularly the US/Europe. Also, many teachers/lawyers/pastors/doctors/atheists/scientists are watching pornography right now. My question, what are some of the negative consequences of living in a society where pornography is so readily available with the click of a button? What would happen to society if pornography viewing/production was made illegal? Would society cope and would it still be able to function? Would the world be a better place if the right to watch pornography was taken away? Would rape crimes increase or decrease? How does pornography affect how we think and process additonal information? Is it degrading to women? What do you think are the major obstacles to having it banned? Do you think it will ever be banned world wide? I am worried that my children will be living in a society where so much filth is accessible to a lot of people. Even inside churches many Christians are suffering from severe pornography addiction. So it doesn't just affect atheists.

What does everyone here think? What are the pros and cons of allowing your kids to watch hours upon hours of television? Does it help with their listening/writing/social skills in any way? Has there been any research on this? If so, what are they suggesting?

What does everyone here think is the ideal age to get married? How young is too young and how old is too old? There are also people who decide early in life that they never ever want to get married. What are some reasons that make people not want to marry? What is the rough proportions of people who do end up getting married in the US/Europe/your country? Overall, is it a bad thing to get married? Do you prefer to get married one day or not get married at all?

Is it truly beneficial for society to have humble citizens? What are the negative effects of the humble way of thinking on people and society? Do you want to be infinitely humble? Would society improve for the better if people became more humble? How would this mindset affect scientific progress?
