  1. Sorry I haven't learnt waves yet, just learn some geography. Are all waves except sound waves reflect by object and have a refractive index?
  2. Thank you for the both explanation, but I don't mean the second explanation. The charge is - 2+ - ? ratio is 0.5. But isn't the end are still negative? Is the distance between the atoms are shorter when it bonds?
  3. Why?
  4. Glass blocks( don't know absorb or reflect) infrared radiation act an important part in greenhouse gases. Carbon dioxide also, it absorbs.
  5. Why do the shared electrons must be pairs ? A pair, two pairs,.... O - O - O for ozone is wrong , why?
  6. I want to consult about the lightning. How the strongest of lightning being explained? The number of electrons? Would the lightning be invisible ?
  7. Hello, everyone. I am learning the polarity of compound. Carbon dioxide is a non-polar molecule. I know the linear structure. Is it because when the electrons are pulled by the oxygen atom, the carbon atom has 4 positive charges and two oxygen atoms get 2 negative charge, so the oxygen atoms move towards to the central atom and the distance of the pulled electrons have equal distance with the oxygen atom and carbon atom? What will the situation if the AX the A atom have 2 positive charge, and the X got 2 negative charge, does the speed of reacting (they form covalent bond)faster than when A and X are neutral respectively? Moreover, what is the entire different between covalent and metallic bond? Is magnitude of the electronegativity? Na - Na Cl - Cl As you see, the electron is at the central of the molecules. The electrostatics force of both two sodium atoms should be the same, then What way does the electron move?
  8. It is a bit vague of evolution in this case. Evolution means the promoting of level of humans. It can refers to intelligent and techniques. Your evolution here refers to the strength and speed. For swimming, I am subjective to say it is affected by science(technique). The Asian swimmers such as the Japanese ones , they have beaten some European swimmers with their short body. However, if we want to make it objective, I would say both are affecting the players.
  9. I think molecular compounds do not have this characteristic (colour)
  10. The numerical informational stuff from bud's brain is very crazy!!!!! I worship you very much
  11. Many compounds have colour. Is it essential for them all containing moving ion in the body? And the ion must be tranisitional metal ion?
  12. Sorry, I don't know. Instead, I have a question. I heard that hydrofluoric acid is more dangerous than hydrochloric acid, but aren't the ionization of HF is less than HCl?
  13. I do think I will try it. Sorry
  14. Ya, but I don't want to try it because DirectX is too difficult to remove and install the oringinal one. Why do have a thought of the 3rd situation?
  15. I am trying to install a game which need FirectX 9.0 support. Unfortunately, my display card does not support 9.0, it comes to 8.1 only. What's the consequence if I install 9.0 for my computer in order to play that game? Will the speed of playing some 8.1 or lower needed decrease? Sincerely hope for your answer
  16. You make no sense of my prediction. lol Anyway, it's just my "simple" prediction.
  17. When two atoms collide with each other, electron may run to the others and the distance of it and the nucleus is very short. Why does that electron stay backward to the fixed shell radius?
  18. Why do the shells are fixed in radius for a particular element atom?
  19. Which force makes the hydrogen particles move upward ? It is larger than the weight of itself.
  20. ya, you are right. In my mind, i think molar mass and molar volume
  21. Just know the molar mass of LPG and petrol.
  22. How about burning an uranium ore? What will be observed?
  23. How about silicon dioxide? The silicon atom seem to have a short moment with less than 14 electrons. When two molecule come together, the silicon atom attract the oxygen atoms from another molecule, so is it the silicon bonding which is not consider as a bonding?
  24. Sorry, no. How is the outermost shell electron shared by the sodium atom and fluoride atom? Is there something I really get trouble in?
  25. Ya sorry for my last stupid ask. I later found q-bio is the abbreviation of Quantitative Biology
