  1. Okay, that's what I mean. Dark matter phrased it wrong, to deal with post 313, and 316 just confirms what I said. It's not really all that wrong (sure it has flaws, but so do most other theories), it's just being replaced.
  2. I heard about this on the radio, it was really interesting. It really got me thinking about the future of space exploration, and it was also funny cause I was re-reading Hammer Of God by Arthur C. Clarke.
  3. To my knowledge nothing was really 'wrong' with it. It's just an idea that's being replaced.
  4. Agreed on all of it! All the people I know bash me for having such a 'materialistic' view on life, and I just tell them that it's how it works...
  5. Congratulations on 50 posts.

You're now a Meson, and up to .53 posts per day...

  6. Er...that link doesn't work. "Problem Loading Page: Server Not Found" I do have a general idea of what you mean, though I've always found those things to be sort of...unnecessary.
  7. Ah I see, sorry about that, I didn't know what you meant.
  8. Could that someone be Mack the Knife?

  9. To the OP: Just get a regular laptop. If you have the budget for a tablet, you can definitely afford a good laptop. Get a dual core, with maybe 1.5 gb of Ram, if you're playing Halo (for smoothest performance...though it runs fine with 512 mb), and you're set. Why would you ever want to do that?
  10. Yeah I suppose so... but that doesn't really apply to digital watches, now does it? They don't lose minutes with every week, unless you've got a very old digital watch.
  11. Oh my bad, good catch. It's odd though, didn't they find ice on a moon a few months ago? Perhaps it was one of Saturn's moons. Googled it, I think this is what I was talking about... http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/newsid_7300000/newsid_7308700/7308760.stm
  12. If I were you I wouldn't get a tablet laptop, the get really unreliable with consistant use, all the 'touching' wears out the screen, believe it or not. Just get a standard laptop...or is there a specific reason for buying a tablet?
  13. They've been finding ice in quite a lot places lately...Europa, Mars...
  14. Er....Thank you?

  15. Ah I was looking for those links!
  16. About the OP: "There are no ghosts in your brain"
  17. I don't think it's even been obscured by consoles. If you look at the last 5 years or so, you'll see that some of the greatest achievements in video gaming have been for PC (Half-Life 2, BioShock, Crysis). A lot of PC games then have been ported to consoles.
  18. Nice profile picture.

  19. He was disagreeing with your comment on how PC gaming has fallen behind. He says that he believes PC gaming was always on top.
  20. I suppose that is one thing that I like on analog watches. Clockwork!
  21. Heh It just might be the other way around. I guess raw meat is an acquired taste.
  22. Oh okay, then sorry about that
  23. Agreed, iNow, but this isn't really speculation...I gave sources (Big Bang, Fabric of the Cosmos), but then again, I should have given less 'pop-sci' sources.
  24. A transparent watch? That's...awesome! I need to find one like that...preferably not one that pinches, and one that I can tell the time...but that's so cool!
