  1. I can't agree with Dark matter that we don't need sources, we definitely do, but I also read a book from 2005 that said this as well. http://www.amazon.com/Big-Bang-Universe-Simon-Singh/dp/0007162200/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1212245041&sr=8-1 I'm not entirely sure if that's what you'd call pop-sci, but as far as I've heard it wasn't very 'mainstream'. Thanks for the links Martin, I'll definitely look into them.
  2. The graphic they have is pretty cool.
  3. See you at 7:30

    Smoke.

  4. errr...I read Fabric of the Cosmos...
  5. Yes. I'm saying I read the original article of the worst jobs in science pay attention...
  6. The article was posted ONLINE in 2007. The article itself was published before then.
  7. There was one a reeeaaallly long time ago IIRC. I remember reading it maybe 3 years ago in science class waiting for a paper to be graded...
  8. Due to recent events involving your 'gheydar', I've invested in a 'teh n00bdar'.

The reason I'm posting this is because I noticed a disturbingly large amount of 'n00b' emanating from this profile. I just thought I should let you know.

  9. ...
  10. I should really invest in one of those...
  11. Cosmic Rays also produce particle pairs
  12. This thread makes me feel awfully uncomfortable... When I first read this I thought it was an unfunny joke, but when I realized he was serious...I died a little inside...
  13. I know, I know, it's just a reason why I don't particularily like them. It doesn't bother me all that much, it's just a moment of discomfort, I'm just stating a few reasons...that's all...
  14. I did try that, believe me, but I never got used to sleeping with an all-metal watch...it was...rather uncomfortable. I usually sleep with my watch on (digital), though lately I've started taking it off because my watch alarm is too quiet to be heard when it's under my blanket(s), so I just keep it next to me, it doesn't get cold though.
  15. Hmm what a coincidence. I was actually wondering about this myself, I'm trying to figure out whether or not my friend's RAM will work with my computer.
  16. I actually said SPACES 4D SPACES. It's really well known, trust me
  17. Cap'n: it may be slightly 'illegal'...but awesome none-the-less if it gets flunk backwards. I personally think that a trebuchet it the easiest, most effective design for what you're thinking, Dark matter.
  18. Right, that makes sense. I used to Ctrl-tab, but I usually like to see how my CPU and RAM are doing if I'm playing a game...just a morbid curiosity. I just can't really stand the whole 'social' thing...if that makes sense. SFN is really the only thing that I do in which I choose to interact with people, outside of school... as you can most likely guess, I'm not a very social person.
  19. I just had to clean off a massive infection...it was really bad. AVG really helped, so I have to prefer it, even though I've personally never tried Avast. AVG, Spybot S&D, TrendMicro Housecall, and Ad-Aware (all free software) cleaned it off completely.
  20. I'm assuming he stopped if he wasn't a fan...
  21. Once again, it's really all speculation, there is no sure-fire way of knowing, though all the ideas sound possible...except the one about 'magic'.
  22. Elegant Universe, written by Brian Greene, very well known, very reputable. For more information, refer to the Wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spacetime
  23. If you think that it doesn't make sense, then you are sadly misinformed. It's a well known fact that space consists of an infinite amount of 4 dimensional planes, though if we're speaking in the fourth dimension, it's spaces.
  24. Hello there, welcome to my page.

Leave a message, or give me a private message if you need to reach me, I'll most likely get to it very quickly.
