What Dark matter means is that he believes that the idea that there are extra-terrestrials is true, and should be considered a fact, rather than a belief.
Am I correct?
There is however the Drake equation...which does predict intelligent life in our own galaxy.
Okay then, but if they died from smoke inhalation, that doesn't mean that they were 'grilled' or 'cooked', so to speak.
I'm not really sure what you mean...I once went through an area that was ravaged by fire and it was pretty much a desolate wasteland.
Okay maybe not that bad, but I think you've gotten the point.
I know this apparently seems like a common belief on this thread, and I'm most likely wrong, considering the majority is against me here; but if say, lightning struck it, or it went on fire, wouldn't it have just charred?
I really think they made that small correlation between warm fire, and cold flesh.
I guess the second option is that they dropped it into a fire.
The idea that it just happened, through nature, doesn't seem right to me.
Yeah, it's one of those things, that while AGP isn't all that bad, you might as well just get pci-e if you're getting a new computer.
I have AGP, and I can't say it's really that bad...I mean, with the ports the difference isn't really...appreciable...unless you know a lot about the subject.
That's almost exactly what I said...just involving 'magic'.
Interesting link, btw.
I also prefer roasted peanuts. Now if they're roasted, and salted...that's just great.
That's understandable.
I'm not entirely sure if Google mail still does this, but you used to need an invitation to get an account, so if you need one I can send an invitation that you can hold on to until you graduate.
Once again, I'm not really sure if that's still necessary.
I don't think that it was one of those things that just happened by accident.
If they dropped it into a fire it would've charred in less than a minute.
I'm sure there was some brain work going on, as I mentioned earlier.
I suppose this idea is more feasible than say, d0gs post, but it still seems rather unlikely.
This is all really speculation, there's no sure way for us to know.
Sounds rather interesting.
It's only 408 pages, but I still wonder, is it a slow read?
Normally this wouldn't make a difference, but lately I don't seem to have as much time as I had before...
Thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely look into it.
Agreed. It seems like the people who wear them are just flaunting the fact that they can afford the money on it. I'm not saying I can't (I probably can't purchase the high-end ones, however), it's just that I have better things to spend money on.
I also don't really like the watches that don't have anything on the face.
The point of having a watch is to efficiently tell time, now how can you do that when there's nothing on the face of the watch!
That's really interesting, I hadn't heard of that before, though when I think about it now it makes quite a lot of sense.
Do you think that meat has been affected?
Do you have any reason for disliking analog?
I think DonutHole's list is quite relevant and makes a lot of sense,
or do you want to come up with a better list for analog?
I personally don't like gold watches all that much, for two reasons:
1. They attract a lot more attention than a beat up dark digital
2. (No offense Darkmatter) they look rather tacky, in my humble opinion.
I used hotmail a while ago, and that's actually why I stopped.
Now I use google mail, much better, IMHO.
It's most likely a problem that they have, you should email them about it,
as it seems you're not the only one with that problem.
I wasn't being egocentric, if you were actually paying attention to what I was saying, you would know I was drawing a basic comparison to myself, and most illiterate morons in my school.
Unfortunately you were wrapped in criticizing other people, most likely because you were never too good at reading yourself.
Oh, and way to make base-less assumptions, I remember all the book, and sorry if I can't remember the title of a book I read over 10 years ago.
That should be fairly obvious, it can all be seen visually.
There should, however be a game as a reference point. Perhaps Half-Life 2?
All over-rating will be based upon the violence in that game.
So games like F.E.A.R. will have an over-rate because there is much more violence, blood, and gore than in Half-Life 2.
I don't think that there really has been an increase in education. There WAS an increase in literacy, but there's a lot of people in our school who can't read analog clocks, let alone chapter books. I remember reading a 600 page history book in 1st grade.
Of course you're not.
An incident involving a jackall, tractor and sledgehammer?
That sounds...intriguing...
I've actually never seen those 'belt loop' watches...odd.
My watch is already pretty worn out, it's been through quite a lot of hikes, science experiments, and other such activities that would wear out a watch.
