  1. Indeed. I need to pwn some n00bs, in a non-scientific way. (Since I can't really pwn many people here on the forums...
  2. Not entirely, it's actually some pretty difficult stuff, I should know, I have photoshop, and I have a relative who is a graphic designer and he has trouble with some of that stuff. MS Paint is actually useful in more ways than I thought, and to me it was always a sort of useless program. Though Photoshop does have cool effects...
  3. I have a friend who does all his graphic design using MS Paint, and it's actually rather complex.
  4. Thanks bascule, that's an awesome link. I'll be sure to...er...purchase some things of interest.

    Music ;D

I'd suggest you don't joke around like that too frequently...

    Music ;D

I am. (Though I really don't like Linkin Park...)
  7. You should probably do a virus scan then...who knows what sort of non-atheist viruses those websites can carry...

    Music ;D

Not entirely. If you listen very carefully to the subtle nuances of Bach's music, you'll notice a lot of that enduring aggression you find in Linkin Park's music, though Bach's is considerably better (no offense to any fans, I just don't really like Linkin Park...)
  9. I have read The Picture of Dorian Grey, The Godfather and out of all the books you've listed, they're probably the best. My list: Books Hostile Waters Neuromancer Ebola The Chamber The Tommyknockers The Moon is a Harsh Mistress Pale Blue Dot Babbit 2061 3001: The Final Odyssey Contact Present at the Future The Pretender... This is all for the Summer...not to mention my goal of eventually re-reading Atlas Shrugged... You've got a good list overall, though I personally find the Economist not at all interesting compared to Scientific American. Cheers, antimatter
  10. That sounds utterly horrifying!
  11. Yeah, see, I'm still not entirely sure how that works...
  12. Aside from what iNow said, I don't really know what else they can do that's all that painful, at that precise moment. Micro-waves are radiation, which is usually harmful in large quantities. Microwaves, at the level that heat tissue, are known as hazardous and harmful, but I don't think they can cause immediate pain.
  13. Ok, so the internet problem was the wireless network card, so I can access the internet, but I have to be hardwired to the router. So now I probably have to get a new wireless network card... Thanks for all the help...for now.
  14. That really sucks. The only ads I get are for nano-technology and science programs which are tolerable.
  15. That one is amusing.

  16. I can dance all day, I can dance all day, try and hit me, try!

  17. I was recently reading a few articles about String Theory, and how it's 'permanently safe' because it cannot be tested. This bothers me in a way, because it's not really science if it can't be tested. I thought about this a little, but unfortunately I don't know enough of physics to really get anywhere, but what possible experiments can be done to prove String Theory. Apparently the problem is in: A. How small strings are B. The massive distances Does anyone have any ideas on how it can be tested/experiment-ified?
  18. To the OP: This actually sounds rather serious. Sort of off-topic, but also about similar symptoms, if anyone wants answer. At random times during the day I get this feeling of pain in my chest and I can't really move because it hurts...well...a lot... I don't get the pain in the arm, which is good, because the pain in my chest is pretty...painful... I don't know what it is, I'm rather healthy, albeit underweight.
  19. A good experience. I myself have never had a hallucination, but from what I've heard, it seems to be ''essential''.
  20. Ah okay, I knew there was something like that. Exactly how elevated do they have to get for actual damage to occur?
  21. I don't know, have you looked it up online?
  22. Indeed, but it's only temporary. A drop in IQ is caused by many things, but one thing causing permanent loss of IQ is hard to find outside of physical damage.
  23. I know...I'm the one who experienced it first hand...if you remember than traumatizing incident...

I just liked his old avatar better.
