  1. Molotov is correct,,Stars on the other hand have what is called solar loops,,pretty complicated to explain,,but the suns magnetic field is actually in its sunspots. Check out this site for more info. Its quite informative. http://www.sunblock99.org.uk/sb99/people/LFletcher/sb99_lop.html
  2. you could use algae destroyer which comes in a liquid or tablet and can be bought at nearly any pool supply store,,,then it's safe for people to use the pool when you want to,,,but also keeps away the algae and mildews that grow from exposure to sunlight.
  3. Thankyou for your e-mail wishing me a happy birthday. It was nice of you to send. So i thought it only fair to show my appreciation by saying thankyou.
  4. The idea is what you come up with,,a hypothesis is the result you think willl happen from the idea:)
  5. Thanks for the replies,,,much to think about and research. Diet is something i didn't think about,,i guess eating is important. Thankyou all for the help.
  6. Is there an all natural suplement that you can take that is safe but still give you the fast results that steroids give. And if so can you buy them over the counter. I do not want steroids as they have alot of side effects,,but wish to have the fast results in a natural suplement. Any ideas?

    Mars by 2010?

I think we will,,,after all,,we came a long ways since the moon launches. Now if we can only get those darn o rings to work,,we'll be fine.
  8. What if ufo's weren't extremely heavy,,but actually made up of light weight material not much unlike the lunar lem used to land on the moon,,,and that light weight material was actually a type of memory steel,,where electricity is applied to it to maintian a specific shape?

    Car Stuff

Cars with automatic transmissions have what is know as slippage on the clutches,,this slippage allows the engine to be running in gear with the brakes on and prevents the clutches from burning up,,,as you put power to the engine(throttle up),,,the torque converter then helps move the fluid across the clutches and by spinning the velocity pump, thus causing friction on the clutches, and moves the car forward. NOW,,,if your sitting on an incline,,,the clutches are given just enough friction to stop the car from rolling at idle,,,but if the incline was to get greater,,the car at idle would eventually roll backwards.
  10. Hmmm,,,the star being born would have a gravity,,this gravity would attract the gases,,but also other material,,like rocks,,,lots and lots of rocks,,,all sizes,,,then these rocks also begin to collect together forming new planets,,,all of this swirls around the sun,,,or newly formed sun,,,or newly forming sun. Which then gives it that cool spirlly effect that we all like so much. But i have no source to back my claim up. therefore,,i will call it speculation.
  11. thank you,,thats exactly the equation.
  12. I saw a program on tv about a professor that came up with a mathematical equation that says there must be other planets that hold life. I think he worked along with seti,,,but not sure,,,waas wondering if anyone knew what that equation was?
  13. mmmm,yes
  14. I think that it would be quite useful in a deep space environment where it is extremely cold all the time,,,but in near earth applications the sun would be your biggest threat. Good o' fashion docking mechanism are probably your best bet. But the idea is a good one.
  15. Then,,,lemme go out on a limb,,,if the earths geomagnetic field is no different than a magnets magnetic field,,,then it is theoretically possible to generate a magnetic field on a probe to help push itself away from the Earth,,or is this a TOTALLY different type of field? I think i hear that limb breaking,,lol
  16. hmmm,,,then the magnetic field becomes unmeasureable after a certain distance?
  17. Is there a differance between the geomagnetic field of the Earth, and the magnetic field of a magnet? And how far does the Earth's geomagnetic field reach into space?
  18. Cap'n,,,isn't that what ubermensch said?
  19. Hmmmm,,,thats pretty dam cool,,i bookmarked the sight to learn more. But i remember such a device,,just wasn't sure if that was exactly accurate as to its workings. Wasn't sure if the rate of decay was what was being measured.
  20. I wonder if this would change the atmospheric pressure to be to much pressure.
  21. They actually can be,,but i recommend. Check out this site for more info. http://science.howstuffworks.com/atomic-clock1.htm
  22. Moving the asteroids obviously wouldn't be a problem. Measure's such as nuclear rockets is a possibility. i just wonder how it could be done without taking 200 years. The ice asteroids would melt in little amount of time. But wouldn't you need to build the solar shade first to help slow down the heating of the planet?
  23. Yes,,that would take forever,,,i did a little google search and found a link you might find interesting. For what its worth,,here it is. http://www.rfreitas.com/Astro/TerraformSRS1983.htm
  24. Would solar sails do the job of manuevoring the asteroids i wonder?
  25. I would choose alot of smaller asteroids of say,,,100 meters in diameter,to pepper the surface of venus rather than using the devastating sizes of a few km. As for the needed resources,,we have it. We just need the rest of the world to realize that our resources could be used for better purposes other than petty needs.
