I think China will be the next superpower. India has a chance, but they are missing a real blue collar class. If China can continue to shed communism without chaos and avoid a conflict with the US, then I think they will emerge from this century on top.

If you got Bush to really tell you what he thought, he would tell you that homosexuals will go to hell, if they don't repent. It is hard to support someone who thinks you are going to hell, don't you agree? Yes, people will respond saying he never said that, etc. But he believes it I have no doubt.

I thought AMERICANS were attacked and responded to 9/11. Didn't know it was political. I completely agree that most Americans are spoiled, including myself. But, if I am not going to pay for poor people here, I damn sure don't want to pay for poor Iraqis only to watch them dance 10 years from now when another attack happens. I am sorry, but I noticed things really picked up as we got near election time and as Bush started trailing. They should not be there more than one year in my opinion. I am socially liberal and fiscally conservative, Bush seems to be the opposite, with the exception of tax cuts, which are borrowed.

I think LP voters would normally support W. If some of the swing states are close like Florida was in 00, then its possible they will make an impact.

This is kind of a macrocosm of Suburbia America. People in the suburbs(America) fear death or rape by some stranger from the inner city(Everyone Else). They want guns, police to save this "epidemic". America is very safe from foreign invasions. You are much more likely to be killed by a relative or from your own stupidity.

To me the one time Cheney either lied or had a "senior" moment, was when he said he never suggested a link between Saddam and 9/11. Each side throws things at the other that are misleading, etc.

This is the biggest problem in the Middle East - religion based government, Thw west had this problem too - Crusades, etc. That is why it is taken seriously. I mean, if he ever says God told him to invade Iraq would that bother you? As with any issue on either side, it is overblown by some.

We can't allow the terrorists to get control of "space". Therefore, we must keep everyone out except the US.

Companies outsource to increase profits or remain competitive, not to help other countries. Free Trade is a good thing overall, but eventually, we should see a leveling of standard of living. The middle class American worker will need to settle for less and less to become competitive. It is a very serious problem that will escalate. I am afraid the next technology boom may bypass America completely. While we waste our money trying to free the Middle East and our people waste their minds, the tigers in the east are working, working. I think one big problem is the American investor. As an investor, we want the companies chief concern to be maximizing profits. Screw everything else, just get me money - fast. I have read that European companies take workers more into consideration. I am not sure if this is true or not, but seems to me American companies should have the employees welfare right in with the investor profits and consumer as the chief goal for the company.

I have to admit I didn't watch the debate. From what I have seen, Cheney got the better of him. But, seems Edwards did enough to legitimize himself to would be Kerry voters. Oh, this just in... CNN found out why Bush lost the Debate. They told him to practice hard being a "MASTER DEBATOR", but he didn't understand them correctly! No wonder he looked like his pants were on fire!

I don't think they should discriminate against non-technical people. Let english majors be scientists. Come on, be sensible. I lost a job to China, it sucks but that's life.
