THE CRUCIBLE – WHERE SCIENTISTS MEET ARTISTS
17th November 2011 6.30pm, London Bridge
A Dennis Rosen Trust event
Whether your interest is the visualisation of scientific results, the application of music to medicine,
or perhaps a more general desire to integrate the "opposite" discipline into your own, what better
way to get into the right frame of mind than with a glass of wine and a chat to some of London’s
practicing artists?
There is no agenda and it will be great place to meet creative people who can help bring a new
perspective to the things you think about every day.
Numbers are limited to 50 from the arts and 50 from science. The Rosen Trust works to bridge the
art-science gap – as a service to scientists who want more art in their lives and artists who feel their
practice would be helped by dialogue with scientists.
Now members of these two important communities have a place to meet, exchange ideas, and
perhaps even kick off some collaborative projects. The event will take place in the Rosen Trust's new
HQ at 11 Southwark Street, a short walk from London Bridge Station. Light refreshments and a glass
of wine will be provided
