  4. I will be getting a laptop or PPC in the near future I will be getting one with capeable of connecting to a wireless LAN. I will be using this device both at school and at home. Thing is neither has a wireless network. So what I want is a device that I can use as a wireless access point connected to a router via an ethernet cable or usb cable to one of the computers on the network that will connct to my laptop r PPC. Is there a setup/device that would allow this?

  6. Ok I live in canada so I know very little about gun specs could somene symplify the last 6 posts. I'm particualy curious why polycarbonate plastic bullets will not leave ballistcs evidence. And about the Mythbusters creditability thing I dunno why I said that.
  7. What is a Remington Accelerator.
  8. Just watched the least creditable show on discovery channel "Myth Busters" And they talked about mystery bullets. A bullet whos properties prevent it from leaving any ballisticks evidence. Like something made of ice. They did tests with frozen H20 bullets which weren't able to reach their target bue to vaporization. So I was wondering if any other substances could be frozen fired out of a gun and do damage to a target then "Dissapear". Also I'm wondering if you could have a bullet made of a highly reactive metal like Rubidium which would react with the victms blood. Could this work?
  9. Yes but how to contain it as well as maintain it? A certain amount of R & D would have to have been done just as with electricity.
  10. no just a standard
  11. Ok is there a way to use a 7 inch screen so that it has better quality?
  12. I have tested various setups all with the same results two pci video cards hooked up to two vgs crt moniters and one computer appear to be incapeable of having different DPI settings as with any other dual monitor setup. I want to know if there is a way to make it so I can have different DPI settings on a dual monitor system or set something up with similar results.
  13. Ok everything I have said after my first post is irrevelant It does not make a difference what setup I have. If I change the DPI settingsd for one monitor it is applied to both monitors.
  14. I want to lower the resolution because the resolution of the screen is lower than 640X420 well I'm not sure of the resolution but 640X480 doesen't work. It is a 7 inch DVD player.
  15. No thats why I posted to this forum. I know that using normal settings I can't. I want to know if there is a way to do it.
  16. Simple question hopefully satisfieng answer.

  21. 1 card (bfg 5500 oc 256 mb) with vga and svideo out one crt one 7 inch dvd player with video in adapted with a svideo to rca adapter
  22. DPI settings on multi monitor systems can't be set to individual monitors. When I go to: Desktop Right Click Properties Settings Monitor 1 or Monitor 2 Advanced Change DPI setting OK Apply Yes Close Yes The computer will restart and the setting will have been applied to both monitors. Is there a way to apply the settings to one monitor?
  23. Looks like a nice deal I assume that you don't plan on doing any gaming but I would reccommend getting a system with good video the video cards included with dells are rarely any good for anything BUT web browsing from what I understand their laptops can lag while watching DVDs. Other than the video card I would reccommend upgrading the ram to 512 MB cause your going to want to eventually so may as well save the time it takes to order and install buy it now. Finnally buy an extra battery most laptop batterys wont last more than a year and by then you may be unable to get replacements new.
