we'd probably still be killing each other with pointy sticks and rocks.

    co2 help

Why do you need a pill to burp? With enough practice you can burp on command. I've been doing it for years. My cousin could fart on command, but I have yet to master this kung fu. Just drink a bunch of soda, and bounce up and down shaking yourself up. Another option would be to pop a tums or two, but I'd be carefull with expanding your stomach, I've heard a torn stomach is horrible pain.

    Ninjas

I don't like lethal weapons. Its more fun to pummel your opponent, give them a chance to heal, then do it again Ninja is pretty cool, ever get to see Jet Li's Shaolin documentary? Those guys are nuts. I think the craziest thing is where they have to stand on two posts, holding a candle, or jar of water (don't remember) with knees bent, back strait. If you fall backwards, there is a pointy wooden stick waiting to poke you in the rear.
  5. I hate bubble tests where you have to perfectly fill in the mark. I've screwed up more tests from having some kinda hand injury and not keeping steady. Thankfully, I'm out of school now and don't have to deal with that stuff anymore.
  6. well, my group is the group that will not forgive the current administration for taking us to war based on lies, mistruths, mistakes whatever you want to call them. And I've provided evidence, whereas you have not. 1+1=2
  7. wait a minute doug. So now you agree with me? I'm confused??? I still stand by cheney lieing. I've yet to see anyone show anything that demonstrates differently. and no, I think politics suck not because of what they are, but because of the way people blindly decide to follow one group, and relentlessly defend them, even contrary to the evidence.
  8. well, if you think about it, when the ps2 was first released, it had one of the most advanced cpu's on the market. I wouldn't so much think playstation, but more sony, as they have huge resources and have always been pioneering new technologies.

if you can't communicate with the victim, he may as well be knocked out. If he doesn't want you helping, I'm sure he'll find a way to inform you.
  10. funny, I've never been to moveon.whatever Most of what I noticed has been from reading the debate transcript, and factcheck.org's comments. hehe, politics suck.

    Foreign language

I've kinda been trying to learn Japanese on my own free time, but its a rather tough language. I got a few spoken phrases down, sounds like I say a lot, but it means little. I was reading about a english to japanese and back voico translator being made by NEC. Believe it was at http://www.newscientist.com
  12. people stick crazy stuff in there body as is, which has little to no functional worth. Although I don't see the need in having some implant, unless you are seriously handicapped in some form. At the same time, if technology progressed to the point where I could do a websearch from nearly anywhere, and find information I need, I could handle having some kinda chip in me.
  13. No Doug, you are mistaken, once again. Let me break out the crayons and draw you a map. from the debate: In the bolded section, Cheney basically says that factcheck.org refutes Edwards accusations. But FactCheck.org themselves say that Edwards was mostly right. He was wrong about Libya, and wrong about something else, but the specifics can be found at http://www.factcheck.org, I suggest you check it out. But the simple fact of the matter, this has nothing to do with Cheney slipping up and saying factcheck.com instead of org. Nothing at all. This has to do with him saying there is information at factcheck.org that supports his claim, when there is none. If this is not a lie, I don't know what is. I also notice your not mentioning anything about Cheney's lie about the debate being he and Edwards first meeting together. Face it, dude lied, as this administration is famous for having done. Bush lied about why we were going to war (imminent threat to national security.) all debate excerpts taken from http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/05/debate.transcript2/index.html Its funny, but Foxnews.com doesn't seem to have the transcript anymore??? I don't think anyone, anywhere, has suggested Cheney's slip up about the web address a lie. Certainly not in this thread, nor forum.
  14. is that why I have memories of holding the antenna during nascar races?
  15. and http://www.factcheck.org will even tell you of edwards exaggerations and misinformation, but atleast none of what he said was an outright lie.
  16. dude, I'm not making this stuff up. FactCheck.org even refutes Cheney's claim that they dismissed edwards accusations. Read it yourself. Cheney lied about meeting edwards. He said their debate was the first time, but they had met atleast 3 times prior to this. Is this, or is this not a lie? Flip-Flopping is a stupid way of saying changing your mind. I change my mind all the damned time. You have too. A person who stays locked into one position, never grows.

hmm, well, people find ways around communication barriers all the time. Oft times in an accident all one has to do is point at the problem. Pain and discomfort is a univeral language. I've said before I agree people should take steps to learn english, but it should not restrict them from voting. Also you haven't addressed the fact that people who speak english as their native tounge will be a minority in the future. Reverse the tables, if most people spoke spanish in america, and you do not, should you have the right to vote?
  20. lol, so are you saying bush heard practice hard being DE MASTER BATOR? and here I thought that was a job for first time Fishin boat mates. I just can't agree that Cheney won this thing. He sounded like a better spoken version of Bush, IMO, but kept rambling the same things. Consistancy, bleh, if this thing were about consistancy, they would have been impeached long ago.
  21. yup, I'd have to vote on coincidence, either that, or I want some of what your smoking but then again, in your first scenario Capn, if the switch was in the off position, would motion sensor override that switch? With the switch open (off) the circuit is broken and current cannot flow. Strange indeed.
  22. actually I thought both Edwards and Kerry have firmly made their position clear in regards to gay rights: from the debate, again, http://www.foxnews.com and Kerry's position on gay rights from the MTV interview: http://www.mtv.com/chooseorlose/features/john_kerry_033004/index5.jhtml edit: Something I just realized, Bush never made his appearance on Choose Or Lose. 92 had record voter turnout if memory serves, and, ironically is the same year Choose or Lose started. Perhaps the youth of the nation will get the ole warmonger out of office after all.
  23. my opinion is that a company that sends its labor overseas to get it cheaper should be taxed to the point where it isn't any cheaper. In the case where the company is truly helping another country without taking jobs away from america, this should be different.

My mother is a paramedic. We live in one of the fastest expanding areas of mexican and spanish populations in america. She's dealt with similiar situations on countless occasions. And sure, while communicating verbally can help in such matters, to a well trained medic, it is not needed. I mean, suppose your story was exactly the same, but with an american who was knocked unconcious. How would you care for him? I guess without a spirit medium to dive into the dream realm, you couldn't, and he would die.
  25. About his claim that he never suggested a tie between 911 and Iraq: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6188565/ He lied about factcheck.org, not .com as he misinformed us, claiming they rebut claims of Cheneys corruption whilst he led the company: http://www.factcheck.org Cheney was also going on about being the president of the senate, and being their most tuesdays, when in reality he was only there for 2 tuesdays. Someone said you liked watching Edwards struggle to concede the point about the 90% coalition casualties. He did not concede, you must have missed it: Cheney's only attempt to refute that challenge: and Edwards response shortly there after: Cheney merely attempted to sidestep the issue by claiming Kerry/Edwards was not giving credit to the Iraqi people fighting, etc. Well, it may be true that Iraqi's are fighting and dieing for their freedom, as they should, but the simple fact remains, as edwards pointed out, that we have taken 90% of the coalition casualities. When did Edwards concede that point? excerpts of the debate taken from http://www.foxnews.com oh ya, almost forgot. He lied about Edwards hometown paper calling him "Senator Gone". The News and Observer (http://www.newsobserver.com/) has never made such a comment, or atleast it can't be found. Infact, the only story a google search provides when looking for "Senator Gone" that matches this claim comes from a seemingly biased source.
