1. For the first sentence, a - 5 = c + 5 For the second sentence, (c - 5)/2 = a + 5 Hence c = - 35 and a = - 25 Correct me if I am wrong
2. Hi SF, I can understand the concept of App Indexing. However, I don't get the fact on HTTP standard used for the links. All the indexed pages of the app seem to work with HTTP standard. Now assume a payment app, where HTTPS is the standard, is it possible to deep link a page of the app with HTTPS standard? My next query is, I purchase something on diy ecommerce site and at checkout I choose to pay with paypal. The traditional method is using paypal api which redirects me to a seperate page to complete my payments. Is the same payment process possible with deeplinking/app indexing? AS an example, say at checkout on the diy ecommerce app installed on my phone, I choose to pay with paypal and the diy ecommerce app links me to payment page on paypal app which I have already installed on my phone. So is this possible? How are the payment details for my checkout (like - what to pay, - Invoice number for remarks and other payment infos) is transferred to the indexed page on paypal app. How safe is payment experience with app indexing vs APIs? Just curious about app indexing and payments stuff. I believe someone can help me calrify my doubts Regards Bharath
3. Hello SF, I have a wi-fi router. Some 5 of us are sharing the network. Although the signal seems strong, the network is slow most of the time. I believe someone is eating too much of speed by often downloading video files of huge size. Is there any way I can configure the modem such that, certain sites remain restricted for use or it would be still better if I can completely restrict opening any video contents. Any kind of help/suggestion is very much appreciated Regards
4. Thanks for the reply and my apologies for late response. Well, forgot on what forum I had posted the question. Got the point. Thanks again
5. Hello SF, I have a doubt regarding the sync process of Inventory management in a e-commerce business. Assume, that I run a e-commerce business. I will have an inventory management software to manage my inventory, manage incoming purchase orders, etc. However, my doubt is how will the data from the e-commerce website be sent to the Inventory management software? CAn anyone please explain me or atleast suggest me some good books where I can learn the process? Regards.
6. Would be really helpful if I am able get some answer for atleast one question posted. Regards
7. Thanks for the reply. Straight enough. I would also like to know on how to calculate the mesh size. Although, determined based on the size of the particles to be removed, still confused due to technical terms like solvation shell. Being a mechanical engineer, not able to follow properly in terms of chemistry. Would be great if this can be explained (if possible ) or some suitable links could be provided. One more doubt is that, is there by any chance where RO is used to separate water from the brine that contains dissolved solids in the range of Parts per Thousand (say 200 to 500 PPT)? If not possible by RO, apart from evaporation and condensation by what way the water is separated in such cases? Regards.
8. Hello SF, I have been reading about RO systems (both Industrial and residential). Please consider, that I have a solution containing only water and NaCl (means no other chemicals, pathogens, bacteria, etc.). Passing the solution through RO membranes, I am able to remove 90% of water. Now, my doubt is about the possibility of extracting the brine that did not pass through the membranes. I know the brine can be flushed out as waste. However, I would like to know what percentage of the brine will be flushed out? Suitable replies would be real help to me. Regards.
9. I would like to perform some calculations based on mathematics or algorithms or real-time values (like sniper websites for ebay, etc.) on the cloud and the results need to be sent to the user's computer. Are there any specific names for the servers that perform such operations on the cloud? My next doubt is, can I use my Tablet or Laptop to operate as a server and perform such operations Since I don''t have much knowledge in these topics I have questioned in best possible way to be easily understandable. Regards
10. Well! When solving problems, the stiffness of certain components are omitted and the combined stiffness of the rest of the springs is the reduced stiffness. This is what I have understood (as mentioned by studiot and others) Just learning them by solving more problems...

12. Could someone elaborate me the definition of reduced stiffness (how it differs from the stiffness) of a body? When and how the reduced stiffness is measured? Regards
13. Actually I wanted to know, how the small movements of hearbeat are measured. Even small flex resistors would serve the purpose (I believe so) Thnx to both of you for the replies.
14. I have been able to find small heart beat sensors (in the size of wrist watches). I would like to know what kind of sensors are employed in this watch? Regards
15. Made a simple calculation on the ratio of heat removed to heat emitted (values taken from products in ebay) 29% of power supplied produces cooling and the rest is emitted as heat
16. Recently, I came the topic Thermoelectric Modules, Coolers. I have a basic doubt. Assuming, I am supplying 100w of electric power to a thermocouple and heat starts generating on one side and cooling occurs on the other side. I would like to know what percentage of the electric power is converted into heat? Does heating : cooling ratio equals 50 : 50? Regards
17. I want to control AC devices using Arduino board. Would like to know how many devices can be controlled simultaneously using a single Arduino Uno (or) Arduino Mega 2650 Since I am not a electronics guy, I am not able to understand the digital and analog pins info and hence would like to know the answer for my above query Regards
18. I learnt that the Bluetooth Low Energy will be utilizing the Star-Bus Topology. I tried to google the facts, merits and demerits of Star-Bus over Mesh Topology. But in vain. Would appreciate if someone can provide appropriate facts I have one more doubt on Star- Topology. Here, all the nodes are connected to the central hub. Is it possible for one node to make contact with another node through central hub? Regards
19. I would like to find the engine power/ engine size (in cc) required to lift a helicopter that weights 25 to 30 Kg. Can someone please provide me some calculation? Although the question is vague with not much information I would really appreciate some basic equations to calculation the required engine capacity/power.

Regards
20. I back your views on using an accelerometer. Quiet a bad option. Have to check out if using beacons would be affordable for the project. @ Xitten, You mean to say that using accelerometers on a airborne navigation yields accurate results? However, out of curiosity, would like to know how the Roomba vacuum robot returns back to its charger automatically. Means how the Roomba senses the location and position of vacuum cleaner? and Thnx everyone for the replies
21. Since the bots could be used for collecting samples in various farm, use of portable beacons could be possible. However, this could be considered as one of the option. One other option could be, using accelerometers with magnetic compass (like in Inertial measurement Units) to guide navigation. I am not sure of its usage in large scale applications. I would also like to know the availability of other options Regards
22. A pre-programmed robot has to be employed for collecting soil samples from agricultural farms. The robot moves along a pre-assigned path to collect samples. For the purpose of navigation, suitable sensors have to be employed. The accuracy of the travelling path from the actual co-ordinates should be less than 0.5 m. Although GPS is the usually employed method for navigation purposes, the accuracy of GPS is between 1 to 10 m (which is very low). Assume the size of farm is between 10 to 20 hectares Please note that this is not a project nor some assignment. I just want to provide some typical scenario Could someone suggest some suitable navigation assistance systems for such projects and if possible some case study or related articles Regards
23. This means there are electronic switches available for multi-switching application like switches for staircase lights. If possible, Could u plzz provide me a simple electronic circuit diagram for a 3 way electronic multi-switch and btw thanx for the reply
24. Could someone please answer me at least any one question posted above? Regards
25. I can understand the working mechanism of a 2-way or 3-way electrical switch. However, would like to know if a 2-way or 3-way switching mechanism is possible with a electronic circuit? Also, if it possible with a combination of mechanical switch and electronic circuit (means one of the 2-way switch is a mechanical switch and other switch is an electronic circuit) Regards
