hahahhahahahhahahahha Wait a sec hahahahahhahahahha AHh , ahh . That was a good laugh right there. You guys like to talk. She has D in math(in Croatia its 2/5) and she hates it. She asked me to find out the answer because she will fail if she doesn't. She didn't fail. She got home tutoring. Mine math is 4 that means B. Although that is not a indicator of my real knowledge or anybodies knowledge. Well I am in a lingual high school . And some parts in math we skip. And this was the part we skipped. So I tried to help her by finding out an answer to the problem. And instead of finding an answer I found out that our relationship will fail. Heheh Thanks for all the advice. Riogho and the Tree are going to be a great mathematicians some day. Oh and of course thanks everybody for making my day a little better.

Ok so here is the deal this is what my girlfriend wanted to know. I personally don't know what the hell are they talking about. She knows more than me in math but then I know this forum.
-
Could you give me any route. Thanks.

Ok here is the deal i need to solve this in gauss-jordan method: OK here it goes: 3x-y-z=4 x+2y+z=3 -2x+y+2z=1 Ok thank you very much. I need this fast.

You need the reaction of a smoke bomb. The first thing you didn't say is the materials you used. And what type of smoke bomb. Homemade or a real smoke bomb which involves a lot of chemical reactions. Be more specific if you want an answer.

Ok I will check it by smelling it, ahhahahhah. Where can I buy a gas mask?

Thanks YT for the explanation to my stupid inhaling hehe. Ok so the Cl- ion didn't do it. He thanks you for clearing his name. Oh and a question , is there a way of getting Cl2 with electrolysis of the solution which has free Cl- ions floating.
-
Hmm I kinda breathed on it on purpose, to see does it emit chlorine, and the odd thing is that I felt nothing. Except later. And no I didn't consider it a drug heheheh.

Hydrogen chloride (HCl) is a monoprotic acid, which means it can dissociate (i.e., ionize) only once to give up one H+ ion (a single proton). In aqueous hydrochloric acid, the H+ joins a water molecule to form a hydronium ion, H3O+: HCl + H2O ⇌ H3O+ + Cl− The other ion formed is Cl−, the chloride ion. Hydrochloric acid can therefore be used to prepare salts called chlorides, such as sodium chloride. Hydrochloric acid is a strong acid, since it is fully dissociated in water. Sorry for the earlier mistake. Now that little sucker makes you irritated.

Man now I am scared. Ok so I will need to check everything 1000 times before I do an experiment. But at least i didn't have prolonged exposure more "what fits under a trimmed fingernail"
-
Ok so I tried a simple experiment I mixed 20% HCl solution with Zinc and guess what I got throat irritation from breathing in HCl fumes. 2HCl + Zn ---> ZnCl2 + H2 Cl- But there must be some Cl- maybe with water. Now this Cl- sucker are baddd. So If you want to experiment with HCl wear a wet t-shirt or something around your mouth. Oh and also check all the E-s in wikipedia.

I see a lot of people here have a beef with God. No, don't say you do not believe in God because you don't talk about leprechauns farts, because it is so stupid you don't need to explain or attack that belief. Why am I supposed to accept someone's belief in god, when I don't simultaneously accept someone's belief that purple unicorn farts cause erections in leprechauns? Hmm if there is no God then good and evil is relative , you are right you don't need to respect anything, we are just a fluke, we have no goal , and don't start talking about moral law. The moral law is put into us. But if there is no one to put it into us then there is no moral law in us and then all is relative. Of course this is the best example why philosophy fails, because someone will post a better philosophy and beat mine, and so on. But there is one thing that we all have. That is HOPE.

There is actually MnO2 in battery electrolyte. So if I got a little under my fingernails and then if I ate it wouldnt the HCl from my stomach turn into chlorine. Hahahha

Ethanol can also form esters with inorganic acids. Diethyl sulfate and triethyl phosphate, prepared by reacting ethanol with sulfuric and phosphoric acid respectively, are both useful ethylating agents in organic synthesis. Ethyl nitrite, prepared from the reaction of ethanol with sodium nitrite and sulfuric acid, was formerly a widely-used diuretic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diethyl_sulfate ---watch out for this POISON!!!

How to make NaOh with electrolysis without a cell membrane
PauloChem replied to PauloChem's topic in Applied Chemistry
Then again I used the search button on topics NaOh. Please post info related to topic I don't need general info like there is there could. When I post I make it count . Oh and thanks for the info about brine water. -
Thanks Darkshade, its is really important for people to use every safety precaution before doing anything chemistry related. You have a million experiments but only one life (at least this one). So don't be stupid guys and do an experiment that could kill you. Do your research.

mmonium nitrate is also used in instant cold packs.[1] In this use, ammonium nitrate is mixed with water in an endothermic reaction, which absorbs 25.69 kilojoules of heat per mole of reactant. Products of ammonium nitrate reactions are used in airbags. When sodium azide (NaN3) is used in airbags, it decomposes to Na (s) and N2 (g), the sodium forms a fine dust composed of sodium salts, which is not preferred by the airbag producers. Ammonium nitrate is used in the treatment of some titanium ores. Ammonium nitrate is used in the preparation of nitrous oxide (N2O): NH4NO3(aq) -> N2O(g) + 2H2O(l) Ammonium nitrate is used in survival kits mixed with zinc dust and ammonium chloride because it will ignite on contact with water. Ammonium nitrate can be used to make anhydrous ammonia, a chemical often used in the production of methamphetamine. (thing you shouldn't mess with) Ok that should make sense to you. But do a little more research
