Hmm I drink a lot of coffee, let's say around 750 ml/day and yes, I'm dependant on my daily dose of caffeine. I have tried to reduce, to replace or stop it. No chance. If I do not take at all, I'll get a headache and I have to take a mid-day nap. If I don't touch an 'optimum', I'm sleepy and I cannot concentrate on work. So, I resign myself and enjoy it when it's warm on my desk. However I made a compromise with myself in order to sleep better. I usually take strong coffee in the morning and change it for a mild one later. I do not take after 2 p.m. When I do it, I can forget about sleep that night. Irritable ? Only if I do not touch my optimum/day.

In this case, we are talking about the acetylsalicylic acide (AAS) and not really about the Aspirin. Aspirin is only one of the commercial name of the drug. You can say they are the same thing as aspirin is an acetylsalicylic acide, but we do not have the same presentation form of the product.

Hi Pulkit, I'm just curious. Did you test your 'Aspirin'? If you can prove me the mixing substance you obtained into a lab can be tested as per USP 26 (or other Pharmacopeea) and prove me the results are within the specification of the product, than I'll agree you got an Aspirin there. Be careful: you need at least 10 tablets to test for the assay test if your product is good. If not, you can re-test for 30 tablets. Same thing for content uniformity. related substances are a pain in the ass, I agree, but you have to test them anyway. You see, any result outside the specification of the product is for me a reject, good only for destruction. Alexa

They have something in common, but they are not similar at all. The big difference is caused by the number of suns into a presumed central black holes space. The legislation for vitamins production is not severe enough. And those who produce them usually take advantage of this. Let's say you take a polyvitamin for your health. The vitamins in a very small proportion are easily lost if the mixing of the ingrediants is not done properly. There are many factors which influence the production, so no wonder some 'vitamins' have a low effect or not at all. -
I do not believe someone can do an over the counter drug in high school. A drug production is complicated and need special conditions(locals, hygyne, trained personal, special equipement, etc). A drug over the counter is one you can buy at pharmacy without prescription. You can find a lot of aspirin in different forms of presentation (this is a marketing affaire) and from different companies into a pharmacy, so why should anyone even try to do it into a school ?

A dog under 5 kg is allowed into the cabin with the passengers. Over 5 kg, it has to be kept in a special cage ventilated, pressurised and heated with the baggage. You have the contact the airline company before going with a pet. The norms recommend to visit your veterinary if the animal is timid, nervous or sensible to this kind of transport and take a calmant if necessary. I have no idea why people say a dog could go crazy with a dead person aside, but I'm sure I'll be crazy after 8 hours of travel in this condition.

Interesting article. In my opinion, they are human made and not alien. I've always wondered about the spacecrafts seen into the movies. Is it possible all of them to be made on computer ? I suspect some of them really exist. As there was no alarm about their presence, maybe they were used for a movie. Just a thought.

WOW Martin, I have checked the quantum gravity and you have quite a collection of links there. In my opinion, we can let all the quantum gravity together (if I can find other links, I'll just add them there) and continue with astronomy links (more general information) here. Once we have a good data base, we'll be able to re-organize them to make an easier navigation through it. Alexa

Ups, I've almost forgot about X prize competition on www.xprize.org If you have the time to check this link, you realise the competition gets really hot. The Romanian team has set the launch date for Sept. 8. On Sept. 29th SpaceShipOne will have its first flight with 3 persons on bord. The Canadian Da Vinci team announced its first launch attempt on Oct 2nd 2004. As I think you already know, the X Prize Foundation is a non-profit organization and sponsors a competition between private international teams to build a low cost and effective craft for space tourism.

Martin, I'll do my best to help you, but I have to confess something. I'm not a specialist in astronomy. I'm only an amateur who believes there is life out there into the space and I like to read whatever I can found to prove that. I do have experience as a documentation coordinator in a pharmaceutical company. Oh, that's for sure I know Asterix ! What exactly do you have in mind with these links ? Hi Martin, Sorry for that unhappy link. I use MyNASA Home as you have the option to bookmark the articles you are interested in and save them in your account. If you go on www.nasa.gov and enter on the main site, you have the option to yours NASA. I found very useful to work this way with NASA's site. On www.space.com you have the option to receive free e-mail news. So I do not need to access every time the main site as I get the new articles by e-mail.
