35 viewers but no even one word. There are nobudy to answer this. aren't it? If you can please tell me the books which I have to refer then. I am stucked with this matter and no way to get help from internet or books. -
Dear all, Can you help me on this matter? 0.1 ml of inoculam is added to the 10ml of Rappoport Vassiliadis medium but 1ml of inoculam is added to the selenite systyne broth. What is the reason to add less amount in to RV medium? This is regular test I am doing in lab but I need clear idea on what I follow.

Dear All, I am planning to do new experiment with algae. So I need simple medium to grow algae in lab. If you know composition please post here. Thank you

Dear friends, Do you know the range of ultrasonic frequency which has used to control algae growth?
-
Thanks for your comment. Algae have to eliminate completely but I cant agree with your solution about snails. It will directly effect to the quality of water and process of cooling tower. I need to know the range of effective ultrasonic frequency which can use against algae. Anybody is here to solve this?
-
Dear Friends, We are facing difficulties while maintaining cooling towers by rapid growth of Algae. This spoils water content in it. I am really not sure but it may tend to increase hardness of water. Blowing down process is not effective due to this case. We can not add any acid forms because the thin copper valves are located inside the tower. Once I tried coppersulphate but it increased the hardness value. So I am seeking permanent chemical, physical or biological solution which does not have any side effect to other parts of this.

Need help identifying possible fungus!

If you need to confirm this, what you were isolated you can follow basic microbiology methods. Do culturing samples on MRBA plate and incubate.( be carefull to continue this in aseptically as far you can.) after 24 hours you can post us colony characters. -
water sample does not have any solid or microbes. hence it gives clear liquid. can you please messege me a procedure ? thanx.

Anybody is here able to solve this matter?

Dear All, As a project I need to analys oil content in a water sample. the sample is taken from the treated waste water plant. Already we have added some reagent to remove oil by scraping in DAF tank. But further I need to know whether the presence of oil in treated water. I have small in house lab and I kindly ask you to help me to do this by simple methods. Im seeking simple test method to quantify oil in water. Thank you

normal cells are under control but cancer cells are not. normal cells have links and signals among them and other types of cells, but cancer is not normal cells are subjected to apoptosis but cancer is not Cancer cells normally have a defect in their receptor proteins on the membrane. There are several growth receptors on the surface of cells, and if one of them is faulty, cancer may form. The cancerous mass will continue to divide if there is no negative feedback from the cells surrounding it. In addtition to not being able to receive normal signals that regulate the cell cycle, cancer cells do not stop dividing when growth factors are depleted, simply put cancer cells don't require nutrients to grow, however they may still receive nutrients. As long as a cancer cell is provided with nutrients they may grow indefinately until some random point in the cycle where they may stop, rather then stopping at checkpoints in the normal cell cycle, making them somewhat "immortal". These are the most common differences in cancer cells and normal cells. Reference: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_difference_between_cancer_cells_and_normal_cells

I do not think that your DMAA was a reason for birth abnormalities. But better thing is to face some genetic counselling with your doctor and you can make some idea about it.

is it possible? How can I do that? it is very huge open tank (2000 cubic meter) with floating aerater. Sometime it can manage with introducing mechanical foam scraper but practically we are facing some problems with largeness and other issues.
-
thanks for your reply. we have activated sludge system. So we used chemical in DAF (dissolved air flotation) tank to make foam and then scrape out. from the aeration tank, some amount of water return to the DAF tank. then we cannot use anti-foam agents, it will bother to the action of foaming agent. the foam which float on surface of aeration tank, will disturb during the pumping of treated water to the out. sometimes foam is mixed with treated water and I think it can pollute environment. what on your mind about this?

Hi Everyone. Im new to here and I hope to improve my knowledge through this form. I need to know is there any solution for foam which arise from waste water aeration tank? I mean there is a big foam on surface of aeration tank while aerating. So I hope your comments here. thanx
