Yes endothermic reaction means the stuff has "eaten" some heat, becoming more hot, and exotermir reaction means the stuff has given off heat, becoming more cold. These reactions talk about the result, not the process. In some complex reactions it goes endothermic, then exotermic, then edothermic and you get a net of exothermic reaction as result due to the magnitudes.

Ok, hmm. Time travel is not possible because you must be "travelling" to surpass time. And molecules break apart upon reaching certain speed. if the person does travel pass time however, he, himself would move back into a previous state of himself, not the world around him. I am not saying all those time travel movies are inlogical, but there is a difference between the word "he went back in time (self progress)" than "he went back in timeline".

I solidly believe that a nearby star has much more gravitational influence on the galaxy than superclusters "nearby".

Hmm, I guess your classmates must be some dull people. I've met quite a few good people they always listen to my "lectures", quite fun to do.

Well, whatever suits your fantasies/imaginations

It's (eletronic chips) cheap now 'cause they undercut too much (the corporations).

Yes, especially when the wall is cheaply built and has grafittis on it. And also at the middle of an urban zone. Even if that wall were not build between borders, people'd still smash it down

Not at all. Many mythical creatures are hybrids! Gryphon is eagle plus lion right. I always wanted to be half lizard half human, so I can live much longer.

Okay. I was saying "sure" to the request for an explination of what I say, not to say I disagree.

Outside the universe, hmm, universe is infinately vast, so there can't be an outside. Maybe they should change the name universe to infinateverse.

A bracket is missing there. Still an excellent tweek for a young person

I wonder how those scientists became scientists. The twin tower were burned down, 'cause the main steel support crashed down. Standard Boeing 747 have fuel capacity of 1300 ton I believe. 1300 tons!~! how much tons of gas do we have in a truck in comparison? Also, jet fuels are high quality pressurized fuels. Let those 1300 tons of fuel on fire and it could put out a giant building such as the trade centre easy.

Why light can't escape a Black Hole's gravity?
JohnStu replied to morgsboi's topic in Modern and Theoretical Physics
They say a wormhole is created -
One cannot be brief when talking about science terms/observations. The law of Universal Conservation of Energy is says that the energy is conserved within the target system assuming no energy escapes from the system. Now, to understand that, one has to have the same definition of energy. Most people don't consider light as energy and that's where they see the law as flawed.

Earth is not exactly a sphere. It is wider than its height.

Okay sure. So I put my Hubble telescope here and I aim toward that corner. What I am going to see for this glimpse of time (of photo shoot) is the light I get from that direction at that instant of time. Let's say the photo I get has 3 layers of stars/galaxies. First layer is 30 million light years away. Second layer is 5 billion light years away. 3rd layer is 8 bllion light years away. If the same galaxy appear on 3 layers in the same photo shoot then it means it has travelled from 8 billion light years away to 5 billion light years away within 3 billion years. That's travelling 3 billion light years of distant over time of 3 billion years. That's 1 light year a year, which is the speed of light. Galaxies can't wrap and don't travel fast at all. In fact it's been proven they barely even move within couple billions of years.

As much as everyone loves counting (1,2,3,4,5). Even though there is 2 dimension, 3 dimension. It doens't mean there will be a 4th dimension, or 5th. Now, I know some folks say there is 4D in math. But that's vectors and for graphing, it's different. You cannot have a 4D world, meaning height, depth, width and inner core? Plus, 2D is created from 3-1 D. We ignore the depth to create 2D. As for Big Bang, a "bang" seems a bit fishy as what's the explosion about? Force cannot be created out of nowhere.

I wonder if he can still obtain welfare checks.

I have researched on this before, I estimate dark matter to be 99.69% in terms of mass. But this largely depends on what the definition of dark matter are. If I only consider the dark matters that matter close to human research then I guess it's anywhere from 5 percent to 25 percent for the region (space) covered by Milky Way galaxy.

Stephen Hawking retracted his paradoxical view
JohnStu replied to G Anthony's topic in Astronomy and Cosmology
Good news for me I guess. His decisions is similar to my thoughts before. -
Sun's heat signature is inreverse? I don't think so. They estimated age of sun through radioactive dating on astroids around the solar planet including the ones that later fell onto Earth. It is all estimate though, still fairly accurate.

What if question about the universe?
JohnStu replied to stevenJKpower's topic in Astronomy and Cosmology
Neh, an atom is still too big for it to be an universe within. Only inifinately small can behold infinately big. -
Definately not since in order for that to happen those galaxies must've travelled faster than speed of light which is impossible

Logically (remove all emotions/desires), time machine is definately not possible because if you are in a time machine and you go back in time. The person inside the time machine would go back in time, but not the rest of the world.
