  1. ahahahaha, no, wrong, hannity is not right, he is outwardly biassed, along with the rest of fox news, any idea who rupert murdoch is? maybe you should look into THAT, and then get back to me...they are not outwardly biased, they mask it, and lie about it, they say they are FAIR and BALANCED, however, you yourself agree that they are biased...also, if you can get transcripts from last tuesdays hannity radio broadcast, then you'll find what im talking about. he doesnt call anyone that votes a great american, he failed to acknowledge any left wing person for being a great american because they vote, but he was all too happy to tell it to the NYC firemen and policemen. also, half of his people surveyed were not even of legal age to vote..."this is what we are up against" he said...BAH, ok pal, i can find just as many conservatives who are just as uninformed...but, i bet, the conservatives i find, will actually be over the age of 30 years old...just to show you how stupid your entire base is. my problem doesnt come with a little bias, liberals have like...3 outlets to be biased from....republicans push their agenda through a lot more public outlets. 75% of the radio stations in america are owned by clearchannel, an openly bias coorporation, fox has how many sibling stations with which to spew right wing crap out of? count em....around here there are 6, find me a nationally syndicated "liberal viewpoint" radio show, go ahead, find me one, that i and many millions of other americans can tune into...and dont use liberal like its a bad word, im proud to be a liberal. you typical conservative....hah, i bet i insulted you...
  2. 20oz coke bottle...tin foil, 2 oz muriatic acid....much cooler experiment.. BOOM stand clear though, acid is not good to get on your skin. muriatic, last i checked, can be found at home depot, 6 bucks for 2 gallons...pretty cheap.
  3. moore might be biased, though he denounces both right and left-wing politics, but he is nothing, compared with the "fair and balanced" FOX news. surprisingly, o'reilly has lightened up on his bias, but sean hannity is the most partisan right wing biased moron i've ever heard. he calls an 18 year old kid who doesnt want to get drafted "not a good american" but then turns around and praises all his right wing pricks as being "truly great americans" all because of the way they vote...now thats fair and balanced, let me tell you...moore has to project a point, his point wouldnt make a very good movie if it was boring, thats why his style is to take things out of context and show them on film....many of his so-called facts are actually true...go figure...like the fact that bush has taken 6 months of vacation during his 4 years...thats a fact, his cabinet travels with him...sure...thats so that its not called a vacation...but its still a vacation...would you believe that its actual work when BUSH tells you it is? a coke head, a drunk driver, a very poor example of a soldier...? he lied about that drunk driving thing in ME, "the reason he was pulled over is because he was driving...too slowly..." WTF???? too slowly? who gets pulled over for driving too slowly...it was like this, he drank way to much in kennebunkport, drove home, hit about 60mph on a 30mph road and then crashed into a bunch of hedges...moore couldve put so much more stuff in that movie...like the FOIA(freeedom of information act) this is so that the people know what their money is being spent on...but wait, now we need a legitimate reason to see these documents, which mostly are being classified now...we also have to give our name and an abundance of other crap...and for the typical reason..."terrorists"...not one bush speech can go by without bush mentioning terrorists and 9/11, not one....its his and FOX's mission to keep the american public scared....exploding bouys, poison pen darts....etc....and then when a legitimate attack does occur(washington sniper) its certainly not the work of terrorists, just serial killers....where do you draw the line of distinction?

    Guns

uhh, actually, i use an olympic arms ar-15 chambered in .223 for "fun" shooting...i dont need a gun for self defense, i dont hunt, i like the sport of target practice...thats all i use it for. i would never walk around the street with a gun because of the hassle....i dont fantasize about owning a bigger and better gun, but semi-auto is a great feature to have while target practicing, especially when a heavy gun is being used so you dont have to resight each time you cock the bolt or lever. it makes for much better groups. .223 is my favorite for target, but it doesnt have good knockdown power, its more like a needle, a 30-30 or .308 is definately a better choice. dream, every weapon is an assault weapon when used to assault. a folding knife can be an assault weapon, a sharp pencil....etc...i like to consider my ar to be a high accuracy hole puncher....
  5. nice...well, considering your average high school misfit looking to blow something up isnt going to be able to get cesium without a lot of research and effort...i'd say the worry is minimal. getting back on topic, i think its the fact that people like to make something out of nothing, and to take household chemicals(saltpeter, sugar, sulfur) and make them react in such a way that they instantly react with fire, thats cool. people like that. and the fact that anything like that has an application as a propellent, thats a lot cooler, light has another factor, and smoke too. people just naturally love explosions, as long as they're controlled...some people are moronic with the information, they are the ones you see on the news without an arm or a life....like that guy from VT on the fourth of july, homemade cannon+several ounces of BP+a case of beer=not a very good result. especially when the cannon is made of stainless steel, and acts as a frag grenade...
  6. hell yeah, its good stuff, do you know how much was used in that particular reaction? (cesium that is...)
  7. see, shows how much i know....i've never messed around with or even seen rubidium or Fr. the only reason i saw a cesium reaction is because i walked in on a lab where the professor was talking about the alkali metals. he said...."cesium, unlike sodium, cesium creates a very ciolent reaction, not to say sodium isnt violent, its a mere fizzle compared with this element....POW" "what can we deduce from this" lol
  8. well, to be honest i dont really like kerry, but bush is just a piece of crap, everything about him and his party bother me greatly....they let their ultra christian beliefs dictate what we do as a country. john ashcroft spends 8 grand of taxpayers money to drape a naked statue...because god intended everyone to wear clothes, even though we were born totally exposed....bush limits the expansion of stem cell research which would greatly REDUCE the amount of painfull illnesses and deaths that plague this country, all because he has faith in something that has been cut off from the government. not only that, but he sponsors only southern sporting events, which, no offense, nascar isnt a sport....where was he during the superbowl? only 200 million of the 300 million people in america tune in....he pushes his image to all the southern folk, and they vote for him because he's a likeable guy...he barbeques, he fishes, he hikes, he "roughs it", his image, everyone i talk to who is a bush supporter cannot give me a good political reason for supporting him, all they say is that he's not afraid to stand up against terror...pfft, thats a farse, something created by fox news, im sure there are terrorists trying to plot destruction in america, but they've been doing that since forever...only difference now is that bush can't stop what clinton and those before could. bush is not a good leader, he is a spiritually motivated extreemist. going after saddam was unprovoked, we were attacked by osama bin laden, this is what they told us, however, osama bin laden hides out in afghanistan, so we are told, why then are there a mere 20,000 troops in afghanistan, compared to 140,000 in iraq...where did the mission change? sure, a war on terror includes all fronts, but, shouldnt we finish the search for the primary terrorist, before we go hunting other ones? bush is a buffoon and he makes every american look bad. if kerry wins he will be a mediocre president, but thats a hell of a lot better than what bush has been, and i'll take it....
  9. ahhh, cesium the great....thats the most i'd play around with...and play is not to be taken literally. potassium makes a great reaction, sodium is falsely regarded as a big reactor, even though it just fizzles. potassium in distilled water, plentifull reaction for any science class....the students can just guess what Fr or rubidium can do...
  10. cup of water will suffice....lol. potassium is a lot better, because with that, you wont blow your fingers off....also, Fr is radioactive...UH OH....
  11. correct, never ever put the pan on a high setting...medium is the absolute limit, even if it takes a bit long, its better than losing your skin. also, i though something like red iron oxide could be added which would make the mixture solidify, correct me if im wrong, i just use the powder for model rockets.

    Kno3

go to brooks pharmacy, ask them for saltpeter, if you ask for potassium nitrate, they will probably look at you funny, most likely they'll have to order it, it should be about 3 bucks for 6oz. or you could go to http://www.skylighter.com gotta be 21 for that though....simple rocket fuel is saltpeter(potassium nitrate)+powdered sugar+flowers of sulfer, any gardening store would have the sulfer. if these are mixed properly on the molecular level, then a pretty high rate of burn can be achieved, but this includes a lot of grinding and making the powder really fine, a more potent version is, replace the sugar with charcoal, but it has to be natural and with no additives, grind that under a dowel or screwdriver handle until its really fine, depending on your accuracy, you can make a powder that burns so rapidly that it explodes, but thats really difficult. way back in the 50's and 60's, the sugar propellent was used regularly as a model rocket propellent.
