  1. capital growth is encouraged, because the only people with a voice are the people with the big companies. did you know that the top 20% of americans (wealth wise) share between themselves 80% of all the money in america. thats amazing. and yet, they still push to save money, rip off their employees, and actually ENCOURAGE their employees to sign up for welfare...ehh ehhhm(wal mart) in fact, they actually cost tax payers in any given state, according to CNN, over 35 million dollars a year in welfare recipients. this is a company that is doing 1 billion dollars of business a day. thats insane.

  7. invader, there was a book that displayed the process. it doesnt "dissolve" in water, it just doesnt react with friction when its wet. and it can be painted on to surfaces. although this is pretty dangerous. once it dries, you dont want to be NEAR it. one breeze and it goes BANG. no fun.

  9. chadn, what he's trying to say is that bush is so wrapped up in a faith system that denies the advancement of society. i dont know about you, but i want technology to improve. by contributing to companies that deal with oil power, bush has denied that technology can supply BETTER, more EFFICIENT power which is RENEWABLE. he just doesnt understand, as a small mind wouldnt, the extent of technology in this decade. he still believes in the old work 9-5, be a hero, drink a beer addage. he works his belief in god into the laws that he passes, and so we are all living his belief system, which hey, you are free to have it, but dont impose it upon people who dont share your beliefs. just like you'd be pretty pissed if the pledge was revised to say under god, zeus, and hercules.

  13. biology???who tought you about acids and bases in biology? most HS biology is based around darwinism and genes. and HS chemistry introduces you to the PH scale, oxidisers, ionic/covalent bonds, electrons, neutrons, protons, atomic mass, etc...periodic table stuff.

  15. social security is YOUR money, you paid into it since you got that first job at mcdonalds, therefore, its a direct result how how much money you earned, which is a direct result of how hard you worked. pentions arent the same thing in the sense that, you have paid into them with money. you dont get a deduction from your check that will go towards your pension. well, depending on the company. what happens is, companies say, you have to work here x amount of years to qualify for pension, and after you reach the minimum, you would recieve x dollars which would be in direct relation to how much you made over the years at that company. but most companies say that you qualify for pension after 25 years, and you'd recieve 1/3rd the salary that you did recieve when you worked, that would be a full pension. to qualify for a full pension they'd say you have to work 30 years, and if you retire after 25, then you'd only recieve partial pention. so really, the amount of years you put in is your payment toward pension. in most cases.

  19. IHRA race track, NH raceway, Epping NH, sunoco has a stand where they sell 127octane gas. not many people buy it for their cars because they prefer methanol or some other type of alcohol. more power.. you know? octane is there to prevent your car from knocking or pinging. its what happens when your cylinder fires before the piston reaches top dead center. so it not only robs you power, it really bashes your engine around. and can lead to piston skirt damage, cylinder wall damage, sleeve damage, rod damage, valve damage, exhaust damage, and piston head damage. overall, its not a good thing. in reality, octane makes gasoline harder to ignite, because in high performance cars, where the motor is running significantly hotter, they need a gas that wont ping every time they nail their gas from an idle.

  21. and you have a millisecond camera to prove it? or you just watch bullets for a hobby. flash powder does not detonate by itself. it has to be contained. it can self contain itself, but if you only had 1 gram of it unconfined, it would not detonate, it would deflagrate. if you had 20 grams, then it MIGHT detonate its shell, which consists of more FP. if it was HE in those targets, they'd blow a lot more apart than just a cardboard backing. not only that, but its not a snapping high pitched explosion, its a low pitched deep BOOM. which indicates low explosive....ever heard an M80 go off?

  23. oh yeah, i've set those off with a .22lr too. unjacketed lead subsonic casing. its a lot more difficult than with a .223(which works really well) you have to hit it pretty much dead center, but it will work. i wonder how a .17rem would do? heh, those things travel at like 4400fps. thats some energy for ya. from a BB sized bullet.
  24. when extracting the H2O2 via the freezing method, i suggest a sponge. it gets to be a slushy mix. the H2O2 doesnt really fully extract, its just mixed in with a bunch of ice crystals. just squeeze a sponge and press in hard into the mixture and then let it soak up the H2O2. worked well for me. wear gloves;)
  25. its definately not HE inside those exploding targets. i use them all the time, they're classified as fireworks, and as such, they are restricted to low explosives. the highest of which is FP, which is really not a HE. HE is not available to consumers in any form. have fun with that. http://www.ATF.gov browse that, you're sure to find it somewhere.
