BTW, fume hood have its glasses to open and close up-to-down or left-to-right? in the lab, is it right-to-down (horizontal)? did you understand my question? (it's the best way I can explain what i want to say in English) I'm sure the glasses are contributing some for the matter. But, is there any way to control headache without having to take Dipyrone all the time?

big314mp, it's an Inorganic Chem lab. There are many chemicals there, today, I used concentrated HCl (inside fume hood), NaClO Solution, NH3 was expelled in a reaction (out of fume hood, impossible not to smell and don't feel bad), Sulfur (S8), and some other things I don't remmber now... We have 2 fume hoods, not all reactions with volatile products are made inside the fume hood. Cap'n, the glasses make my view become a little blurred, but it's just a little little. In 15 minutes, my headache starts with the glasses. ecoli, I felt very interested about the syndrome and the symptoms are very similar to what I feel in the lab. I will ask my classmates if they feel like me, because I took medicine for headache and it lasted a long time to have it disappeared. It comes with a horrible photophobia and pain in the eyes.

I have a big problem when taking Lab classes: headache. In the lab, I have to use protector glasses. It is one hypothesis that could give a reason for my horrible headache. The other hypothesis is that this headache may be a consequence of the manipulation of toxic compounds. I am saying this because it really affects me. I've read the lab class script, and there was wrote "100 mL of the NaOCl solution", I understood "100 mL of HCl"... It disturbs me VERY much. And the pain is horrible. Is it normal to have headache because of lab classes?

Alala doesn't have a meaning... it's just a sound, i can't explain.
Alala (the song) has some little things in portuguese ("I wanna be in that crazy band or 'meu cu' " and "Alala alala 'Alguém me avisa quando é bom parar de fazer a íntima' " ) 'meu cu' means "my ass" and the other means "Someone, tell me when it's nice to stop being social".
There is one part of 'Music is my hot hot sex' which the girl speaks in portuguese.
Life has been pretty nice. I'm starting making a survey about religion, I'll show you when I dominate Google Docs and i made a blog (in portuguese =/ ). and there? something good?

I think it depends. If you want to have a notion about what you are searching and then make a deep search about it, it is OK. But if you want to make your work based on WIKIPEDIA, it is bad... Everything is RELATIVE.

i loved the songs you sent me, specially the two last ones. i really didn't get even one word. CSS is kinda indie, they are brazilians (even if they make more success abroad), they are GREAT and crazy! Some songs I love below:

we make high school and chemistry tech together and it is very hard, an exam is needed to join the school and the teachers are very strict... we have lots of lab classes and we have to make reports, seminars, exams etc. Here, once a year we have Technology Week, which offers courses and workshops... you can also present your project (if it is accepted).

About music (I LOVE IT), I can say I like alternative rock, indie, and other lots of styles, I like CSS (have you heard abou?? i just lov them!), Evanescence, Paramore, Green Day, the Used, etc. I've been listening to Klaxons... its pretty cool. Have you already gone abroad?

mr decent xD doesnt understand how is organized education levels there... but i can say i am in the 2nd grade in highschool (it means second year. the highschool here has 3 years). and I'm also in Chemistry Technician school (it is amazing!). I don't have a deep science knowledge but the few i know makes me really fascinated. how about you? What are you interested in? Do you like music?

Do they increase (in quantity) sometimes? If those are floaters, a medical exam must show the doctor if there are condensated points in your eye (i'm newbie about eyes and their diseases)... but my mother has a similar problem and it's also not possible to focus them. I'm sure you can't see atoms, if you could, bacterias would be like a house for you... The point is that I believe that you see those 'things', the thing i don't believe is that they are atoms... if you come and say you see eletrons i will fall from my chair! -

Well, I dont care much about my height. I am about 5,35 feet and I'm not sad about that... I don't care much about relationshps so it isn't a big problem for me. I wouldn't kill all jewish because of my height (or for any other reason, ok!! ).

Maybe I'm saying idiot stuff, but I'm not so sure HCl and KNO3 react. There cant be a double replacement reaction since it doesn't make anything like a weak acid or a precipitation. What is been discussed KNO3 or HNO3? Aqua regia is made with the proportion 1:3, HNO3 and HCl, in volume. Hope I could help you some. I cant explain the purple color, are the reagents pure? a "contamination" may be the key.
