  1. I don't have any scientific evidence to back it up. it is all from what i observe in life. Is it possible I found this trait inherited from our father before any scientists start to study it ? If I google the evidence, copy and paste here, it is like an assignment instead of discussion. I am curious anyone has the same conclusion of mine from his/her experience ?
  2. I have to admit it is a speculation, but from what i have observed we probably inherited temper from our father. A bad-tempered person most probably has a bad-tempered dad, while the chance of a good-tempered person with a good-tempered dad is very high. Although I don't have the scientific reference to back it up, i believe it is the gene from our dad. what do you think ?
  3. it is impossible from the sweat of my hands. all the stains are on back of the clothes. The clothes folded and stacked are never stained before. By the way, it is better to get all the clothes out regularly and hang outside under the sun or it may have an unpleasant smell i can't find words to describe.
  4. yes. no need D2, even D3 which is too strong and too much. D1 is quite enough for normal people.
  5. I only put soaps in the wardrobe and it was hanging in between other clothes which are not yellow.
  6. some washing-powder companies hype that their product can whiten the clothes and make them look whiter than before, what ingredients do they have ? yes, you are correct, only this one is stained yellow and it was white before. Any stain on white clothes would be very obvious and easy to spot. this clothes was washed by hand and put into my wardrobe for more than 6 months before i found it yellow stained. it must have had some mysterious chemical reactions during this duration.
  7. no, the yellow stains are ONLY on this white clothes( some on cuffs.), others remain as white as before. it is very strange. How to use gas chlorine to bleach clothes ? it is dangerous !
  8. thanks, StringJunky.
  9. it is irritant to my skin. underarms have no yellow stains at all....odd ? stains mainly cover the back of this clothes.
  10. hydrogen peroxide is widely used in cleansing products and tooth whitening. If i can't get Oxiclean, are other products available ? or does toothpaste contain hydrogen peroxide ?
  11. I tried white vinegar twice as suggested but it proved useless. i have no idea how these extensive yellow stains appear on my clothes which i don't wear for more than half a year. They are not from food or drink stains, and they have no smell at all. it is so strange this is the only white clothes i found with yellow stains, however other white clothes maintain pure white for years. If i bleach this clothes, is it bad for my skin ? it is a summer clothes. Thanks.
  12. thanks StringJunky. i wonder do Eskimos lack of vitamin D and suffer from osteoporosis due to low exposure to sunshine?
  13. what does "man flu " mean ? cold and flu both are contagious, of course that one person passes it to another is quite normal. it is possible to get cold then flu afterwards from my experience.
  14. I lack of exercise and exposure to sunshine, even though i drink milk everyday & eat food which provides vitamin D, i am still at risk of osteoporosis. is my understanding right ? Bone density test is very expensive; I have a diet that contains vitamin D; I lack of exercise because of my job. I only depend on what I eat to avoid osteoporosis.
  15. what is the simplest way to test whether we have osteoporosis without going to hospital ?
  16. thank you guys! one more Q is i sprayed the insect spray all over the kitchen floor, if i spray the boric acid on the floor again, will it be any chance the unexpected chemical reaction it will lead ?
  17. i want to get rid of disgusting cockroach. there are some small cockroaches appearing in my kitchen, undoubtedly, mother cockroach laid some eggs ..... insect spray is not the only way to dispose of them. i want to try boric acid solution to mop the floor, the worry is does boric acid corrode ceramic tile and laminated floor ? (alkali was once used to mop the ceramic tile, unfortunately the tile was damaged. ) thanks in advance

  20. hahaha. zapatos, it doesn't seem as simple as you said. this market is so unpredictable, it may go down for many years(5-7 years and even longer ). i have been there. what is the overall S&P average growth rate ? 5% ?
  21. zapatos, how can you be so carefree ? you must be very good at it ! what's your annual return ?
