  1. If theory is going against logic, and theory yields correct predictions, logic does not apply. This is almost always the case in quantum mechanics.
  2. If you get an answer to the triplets question, what next, ask about quadruplets?
  3. There is no electromagnetic accelerator. You can't just make things up.
  4. Except that English, or any other language is imprecise and unwieldy. Math is the language of physics, and is precise. .
  5. What forces? For example, one twin is on earth, the other twin is moving at a constant .9 c at a distance of 10 au. So what force does the twin on earth feel?
  6. Yes. Because you didn't understand the answer doesn't mean the answer wasn't given. It means you didn't understand it. When you have two inertial frames in relative motion, each will see the other's clock as running slow. When the two frames are brought back together, and the clocks compared, the clock which will show the effect of time dilation (i.e. the slower clock) will be the one which underwent acceleration (to bring the two frames back together, at least one of them must be accelerated). That's as simple as it can be explained. If you've seen that answer a lot, and don't understand it, the problem is not with the answer.
  7. Acceleration itself does not have an effect on relative time dilation, that's solely due to the relative velocities. What it does do is break the symmetry between the inertial frames.
  8. Popcorn, I can't understand why the moderators continue to allow you to post this empty nonsense.
  9. In 133 posts, has Morrow actually answered ANY questions?
  10. Is there any reason you can't learn to use the quote function? It's almost impossible to tell which are your responses. Except the other quotes are the ones which make sense.
  11. There's certainly no need to repost that nonsense, while there's a huge need for you to get an education that goes beyond a half remembered high school class.
  12. And the figures you've posted are completely unsupported nonsense. Word of advice, finish High School. If you dropped out, go back.
  13. How about you get at least a minimal education before you try this kind of thing?
  14. Outside of it's event horizon, the gravity of a micro or mini black hole is no more that the gravity of the mass comprising it. Given the minuscule gravity of the original mass, and the minuscule size of the eh, it could probably pass right through you and you'd never feel any effect.
  15. . Did you mean doesn't violate conservation of energy or momentum?
  16. Energy is a property of things, not a thing in itself.
  17. deadman No, only gravity can bend light. That is known as gravitational lensing, and that's only one reason for the dark matter hypothesis. The orbital velocities of stars in the galactic spiral arms are too fast, and are only possible if there is a 'halo' of gravity producing something permeating the galaxy. Since this gravity producing something can't be seen, and apparently does not interact electromagnetically with ordinary matter, it's called Dark. Which just really means we don't know what it is yet. Yes, the universe's rate of expansion is accelerating, and there must be an energy source causing it. We don't know what it is, so it is called Dark Energy. It has nothing to do with Dark Matter. It's just lousy naming. No. It's not correct, so the rest of this is moot. It means that all of what now we think are elementary particles, i.e. quarks, electrons, gravitons, are themselves made from strings of something totally basic and the smallest possible, vibrating in different ways through 11 dimensions. No, it really has nothing to do with Black Holes. The jets do not come out of the Black Holes. They are caused by gas in a cloud surrounding the BH, which is swirled by the rotation of the BH so violently that it heats up and radiates x-rays and gamma rays, which are funneled to the poles of the BH where they are collimated into the jets which shoot out in opposite directions.
  18. Yes. The solar wind consists of ions.
  19. Not unless they run into electrons.
  20. The ridiculous nonsense is what you're posting.
  21. No, you've simply made that assertion and assumption.
  22. Because photons are absorbed by electrons. Hydrogen atoms are not absorbed by anything.
  23. 'Holy crap, what a load of horseshit' seems appropriate.
  24. I'm not sure what you mean by orientation. It will cause the electron to move into a different orbital, which is a physical change.
  25. No, you're quite right, and Brett is wrong. Photons have no charge and do not interact with each other. When an electron absorbs a photon, it becomes excited and it goes up to the next orbital level. The electron can fall back to the lower orbital by emitting a photon..
