  1. AzurePhoenix because it's my favorite mythological creature and Sapphire would have made it too long. The picture is me, but I'm considering switching to a picture of the wise and mighty yoda
  2. Don't mind us, we mean no harm, we just get... sidetracked by the occasional bout of humor.
  3. True, I had a friend who was mauled by CRYSTALS when he told them that OBSIDIAN was cooler. Sweet Buddha above, the CRYSTAL shaped scars still mar his forehead to this day.
  4. Nova, pehaps if we could harness the mysterious force generated by your complete ingorance of blatant, derisive sarcasm, we might gain a power even greater than that of CRYSTALS ---edit-- Oh, you forgot to fully capitalize your third "CHRYSTALS." That's half the power
  5. Hell, Stargate utilizes more CRYSTALS than even the anime. Those Ancients/Alterans really knew their CRYSTALS. And get this, they built Atlantis in the first place. Coincidence? I think not.
  6. Don't make fun; anime films regularly show that CRYSTALS have many astonishing powers. Some CRYSTALS power starships, some CRYSTALS contain alternate dimensions, some CRYSTALS turn your enemies into gory smears splashed across walls. I mean jeeze, those people in Disney's Atlantis had tons of uses for CRYSTALS. Pay attention peoples!
  7. Look at the octopus and their kin. They are quite intelligent, with complex behaviors and cognitive skills, despite being cold-blood critters.
  8. After all the bizarre threats, clear taste for violence, seriously proposed societal-domination plans, and uniquely savage moral code, it was my picture that brought you around? I've never before been so proud of my scowl.
  9. I don't buy most of my music anyway, in any form, cds especially because you end up paying for 20 songs, about 3 of which you actually want. Yup, it's radio for me.
  10. There is this thing called a "cd" that does quite well for such things
  11. sorry, misread it as "not at all poisonous" rather than "not all that poisonous" let's drop the spider thing, thread's WAY off track
  12. The actual Daddy Long Legs Spider does have a very mild venom, sufficient to kill their prey. Just doesn't harm larger organisms. The more common harvestmen aren't poisonous, just have silk glands.
  13. The brazillian wandering spider is often said to have the most potent venom, but comparisons of such things can be pretty hard to pin down. Anyway, most varieties of daddy long legs aren't even actual spiders, just close relatives.
  14. - "animal parts and organs will pass on the attributes of the animal to whoever consumes them." I know, not a particularly common myth, but my least favorite overall. - "lightning never strikes the same place twice" I wonder how many meteorologists they went through to figure that one out - "tarantualas are extremely poisonous" half the people I talk to think this :/
  15. I agree with your "avater = this person" view' date=' as I share it. Though I love Yoda dearly (I have more respect for him than anyone ) he didn't portray that more sadistic flare that seems to define me I may eventually fall back to a lightning-throwing yoda if seeing my face too often disturbs me Phi, you should definately be nominated for sweetest SFN member. YOu know just how to touch my heart
  16. I don't know, I think the cartoon version nicely displays her nicer traits while hiding that savagely effective poster we all love. Maybe you couldn't see it, but I saw a manic glint in her photo Don't want to give the prey a fair warning, now do we?
  17. tiger and otter. That'd be a neat aquatic predator
  18. Aye, it kinda defeats the purpose if everyone gets one for any trait or ability they might happen to have. Competition is about winning and knowing that you crushed the spirits of those who failed
  19. Somewhere Mokele cries in the night
  20. As long as people remain civil and don't turn it into a "this person sucks" match of mudslinging, it should be fine. I'm not sure I can trust such a thing not to happen, but I'm trying out optimism for once.
  21. A butterfly buys a song on ITunes, a man loses out on the highlight of his life. Chaos at it's finest
  22. Start "must be licensed to reproduce" program and start up cannibalism as a two-fold plan of feeding selected persons to the starving! If you think I'm kidding you're dead wrong
  23. Love is love, who are we to judge? I mean, this is no worse than that poor actress having to marry Tom Cruise; better actually. Anyway, was the goat willing and of consenting age?
