  1. I'm fairly certain it's 84.768%... or so 76% of all researchers claim.
  2. My goddamn luck, a whole world of troglodytes
  3. How in Hell is that the answer to the experiment? Isn't that just a little side comment that no one really needs to know?
  4. Soooooo, you want someone to tell you what the experiment is about? What it's accomplishing? Or how?
  5. geeze, how many people out there don't realize that the answer to the chicken and the egg thing is blatantly obvious ? ? ?
  6. It sucks, now I'm going to have to come home and teach my siblings actual science. Well, maybe not, Arizona always seems to be among the last to adopt stupid rules.
  7. As can mantis shrimp, which can see three wavelengths of ultraviolet light. Kites use UV light to trace mouse urine, and parrots and certain fish have patterns only visible in the uv. So, as long as it's useful, the abiliity could evolve in any system where any uv or infra lightwas produced, basically all of them. EDIT: That's just Earth evolution, with Earth eyes, other courses of evolution might easily allow vision across higher and lower wavelengths. Or some other perception entirely.
  8. As strongly as I might support the Mole Man idea, I'm just saying people shouldn't get worked up over things that could have perfectly mundane explanations. Although, from a geo-astronomical standpoint or whatever, volcanoes are a big deal.
  9. Cox Digital Internet. It also supports FSM'ism, seeing as how all cables, cords , threads and strings are proven to be worldly extensions of His noodly appendage.
  10. A bad joke to be sure, though my Great Uncle did shoot off his big toe with a rifle. I'm trying to think of either an honest answer or a sarcastic quip, but to be forward, that comment just blew me away.
  11. You'd best get totally wasted before hand. That's how my Uncle replaced a finger with his big toe (the nail was more symetrical).
  12. Of course. No one could possibly be dumb enough to to persuaded otherwise. I've been wondering lately, does the FSM date?
  13. Trust me, I know that, but it's certainly no more "out there" then picking up a Bible and saying "Oh, He must have done it with a wink and a whistle!." That's my point, that there can be other crackpot theories besides "God did it."
  14. Anyone notice that the "Treehouse Man" was the spitting image of one of those Thunder Cats?
  15. I can't stop gagging on my cocao. I can't help but picture his... reversed situation... PS2, maybe you should seek out some relatives and, um, compare notes.
  16. I have a pinecone that vaguely resembles my dead gerbil. Is that a ghost too?
  17. You could potentially believe in not one supreme god, but say, in a race or races of higher entities on higher planes. Not all powerful, and not perfect, but beyond us silly humans. Think "Ascended" Ancients from Stargate, or the Ellimist from Animorphs. Despite being pure speculation, this really appeals to me on certain levels.
  18. I never claimed to be a good devout worshipper. And you can't deny the divinty of grapefruit. And potatos. Never dismiss the potato.
  19. damn, repost... dammitdammitdammit I have found nothing that hasn't been taken, you're all a bunch of mangy post-grubbing thieves. meh...
  20. I know it's not special, but it sure does tickle me pink.
  21. Damn typos . I can't type worth crap, and they make me look stupid... anyway we Phoeniceans don't have a whole lot of animals, but what we do have is pretty cool. We're even starting to get a few jaguars. EDIT: to prove that my "chelonion" was a one-time typo, check post number six. Nyah-nyah
  22. Does that mean the site will award me the title-rank of "Chelonian Sexpert?" meh, it's a gift. As a wouldbe/wannabe/willbe zoologist, I like to know lots of wierd stuff about different kinds of stuff, turtles and sex included.
  23. Avoca PA?! Dammit! In my newly published book I theorized Legosia was buried beneath Salt Lake City.
  24. Any references to such images I have ever seen, simply attribute the female-male-male pairings to the fact that the presence of the lusty female overwhelms and confuses the second male, or maybe he's trying to get the horny fu**er off his girl. Whichever.
  25. Not insects. Isopods. See? No more fear!
