I've got some barium carbonate and some iron oxide, I tried to sell some on ebay as its just sitting there but no luck.

Sounds like a great idea to me, I'll be back with a few things. Its true if you want to get anything you have to buy huge amounts or as been said spend so much. Lets see hwo this goes.

The purple stuff is most likly "mentholated spirits". I'll check BandQ tomorrow for the bbq started. As mentholated spirits is only 5-10% methanol I'm not going to get much, but its only about £2.50 for 2li, and the rest can be used for something, lol.

I'm in need for some methanol, I've read that this is in white spirits here in the UK but then I've read that it isn't. I know that there is 5% in mentholated spirits, I'm thinking of distilling this out using a water bath and all the rest of piping etc. Just wondering if there's a better source anywhere? I'm in the UK.

nothing wrong with kno3 its every where if you know where to look. Check a thread I started about UK chem supply there is a link in there for kno3.

if you know you're going to spend more than £50 in the long run then this is such a great place to buy, buying in bulk saves, lol. £50 isnt that much these days, not when you get a shed load for it, great stuff, just not good if you only want 1 or 2 things.

I think I should be ok now, I've found a guy (I've dont business with before) who will sell me 100ml (dont know what mol, most likly high) for £9 inc postage. Saves me spending all the cash, shame tho as they are so cheap, lol. makes ma want to cry, lol.

as it says on the tin, where can I find proton exchange membrane (pem) to buy, either the USA or UK, I've found one place that sells them but more would be nice to look at prices etc. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

I know this has nothing to do with this thread but no matter what soap you use acne will not go away. I had it for a long time (8 years or so) and still get it from tiem to time.
