  1. A 3 foot long cylinder and an air compressor.
  2. I'm hoping they repeal the 22nd amendment and Bush runs for a 3rd term.
  3. Maybe the U.S. department of Interior will put us on the endangered species list.
  4. I'll add a fourth [4]Space. Solutions [1] Soylent Green [2] Fusion (as you said) [3] Asteroids and deep ocean mining [4] Build floating cities on oceans
  5. Yeah, I know what you're looking for, I was just trying to get a feel for the type of "pickup" you had, and the frequency range of the device. Not knowing this, I'll throw a couple of things on the table. Yes, the device you're looking for can be designed. The two bare wires sound inefficient to me. My wife has a pedometer with a heart rate monitor, it's a tranducer, the size of a dime, place your finger on on it and it has enough amplification to emit a loud beep with each heartbeat, probably enough power to transmit a foot or two (depends on the sensitivity of your receiver....cost $22.00 at radio shack....size, probably about 4 dimes stacked. Other amplifiers/transmitters...a hearing aid...40 to 60 dB of gain...$11.00 on the internet. Polygraph machines have a number of transducers that could probably be obtained cheap.
  6. No problem here. The attendance of the victims rights advocate is fine, just as the attendance of an equally known capital punishment advocate is Ok by me, along with the attendance of a well known severely abused male who had killed his wife and found to be not guilty by reason of justifiable homicide. All that, and each ideologue wearing his/her own focus group button.
  7. Would you expect anything less from the 9th circuit? I guess if I were guessing, I'd be guessing that 85% of the right wing gripes concerning activist judges, come from decisions made by the 9th circuit.
  8. If you've got a Dell, you should be able to go on line, input your tag or serial number, request 1024 meg of ram (or whatever). They'll know exactly what you need.
  9. Interestingly enough, the labrador current is cold water heading south to warmer waters, and the Florida current is warm water heading north to colder waters.
  10. Apparently the Coriolis effect influences the direction of currents, however, I think the wind, variations in surface sea temperature, and the coastline attributes influence the direction of currents. The Florida current flows North along the coastline up to about S Carolina, the Labrador current flows South to around Cape Cod in Ma.
  11. Maybe Tiger had some spin on the ball and it sat there for a second spinning it's wheels, then accelarated toward the hole.
  12. Are you sure it's your computer? How many 100 watt lightbulbs are on, how about your stereo? Your body is 98.6 F....Check your computer voltage input along with the input current (in amps), multiply them and you got the power dissipation in watts. Then compare it with the other stuff you have on.
  13. On the other hand, poorer people may opt out, simply for the extra cash each week, figuring that uncle Sam will take care of them.
  14. I happen to be self employed, since I pay double FICA does that mean I can only opt out of half of it? I'm for the privatization plan for numerous reasons.
  15. Are you talking about op amp feedback? If so, you can't operate an op amp ( at least the 741) without feedback. Why do you need 2 op amps for a gain of 10?
  16. Flareon, a lot of Western European countries dislike the U.S......The question is why.....is it because the majority of the country's media outlets are influencing their thinking? Why do the French dislike the U.S.? Is it because of Chirac or Le Monde or both or non of the above?
