I think what most people are talking about, it what info goes on the card and especially info that's private. That would be medical records, military records, other things like police records, sexual preference, skin color, prison records, infidelity, drinking problems, smoking, obesity, age, education (can anybody think of anything else ?) Anyway, a lot of people are concerned about this stuff, if above info can be obtained by prospective employers, insurance companies etc....you may be screwed

bloodhound, NO, it won't. French Americans are not called "French Americans" like the Afro Americans are called "Afro Americans" which is by their choice. I've never heard anyone utter a word about French Americans (which are only identified by name) I think all Americans on this board will agree....I think. As for "Freedom Fries", That was the "hate France" group, it only lasted a couple of weeks......I call them "french fries", of course, I have visions of Jacques Chirac while I'm eating them.

No offense taken. I agree that Pangloss is much fairer than I am as far as objectively looking at both sides of the issues......However, though I'm tilted to the right, with some obvious bias, I believe that the majority of my posts are NOT subjective.

Yeah Bloodhound, it's a real disaster over there. I'm sure this isn't enough money, we should contribute more. I can't speak for pangloss, but Kerry never talks about unemployment as a function of the percentage of the total work force (about 5.4%). Kerry talks about the number (highest in history) of unemployed, which certainly relates to the total population of the work force.
