Yeah, that's probably why I was getting confused. I could find the information on how atoms make up organic compounds, and how organic compounds make up all living things. The three domain system was at the very beginning of the book, and I couldn't quite see how it related to atoms. Thanks for the help. I decided just to write the paper with the three domain system, hopefully that is what the teacher wanted.

Hello All, First off I want to say that I appreciate any help. The directions are to explain how atoms make up organic compounds, which make up all living organisms, addressing all three domains. So I don't want you to answer this, just explain it a little. I am having trouble figuring out what the teacher means by addressing all three domains. I have been struggling with this for the past three days, and have searched the internet as well as read my book several times when I finally came across this forum.
