i got a question, if i spin rapidly a 2kg book on my fingers, why does it seem to be lighter than when its stationary??
-
Its centripetal mate, next time you got to make the spelling right.... ok
-
how about making an accurate diagram and measuring the radius. it might work?

whe's right you know. how about changing the last 2 digits into either 00, 25, 50, 75 and +00 (the next higher hundered) lets do it using some 'complicated' maths shall we? method: legend: X = hundreds value up. Y = last 2 digits of course let xy = 999 x=900 y= 99 so, ....................................................if y > 12 ..............................................(true).......(false) ........................................if y > 37............change y to 00 ...................................(true)......(false) ............................ if y > 62...........change y into 25 ..........................(true)......(false) .................... if y > 87..........then change y into 50 .................(true)......(false) .............change y into....change y to 75 .........00 and add 1 to x i made this equation so it works with real numbers, without fractions. if there is, simply round off the numbers and it should work. substituting 999 into this metod, we get: ................................99 > 12 ..............................(true) ........................... 99 > 37 ..........................(true) ........................ 99 > 62 .......................(true) .....................99 > 87 ...................(true) cahnge 99 to 00, and add 1 to y. but wait, that would exit the limit. so we have to go i step down and change 99 into 75. so, x = 9 y = 75 xy = 975 that should do it

well thanks a lot....maybe it will take me several more months to 'understand' and answer that..... anyway, for homer's sake my friends....(simp) the probability is struck down to 50/50 when the goat was shown. Its just a matter of hint from the host which one has the car.

works for me. how about mix em up together , just in case...

Yes, gravity does cause our orbit. And, the gravity of the moon is less than on the earth, because the density and mass of the moon is smaller than of earth's. The earth and the moon goes around the sun, but technically, the moon goes on its own orbit around the earth, therefore the earth goes around the sun with the moon along with it. ---sorry, just felt like mentioning
-
well, what i can say about the direction is, that the solar system is orbiting around the galactic center like how the earth orbits the sun. However, the earth's orbit around the sun stays the same although the earth (obviously) ous around the galaxy with the sun. The milky way galaxy also moves, but the direction is still unknown. That's because we cannot create a map, or a grid which shows the exact location of the galaxy, simply because the size of the universe and the point of origin (where it all began, big bang) is unknown.

no problems. i'l ask you if i have trouble in science thanks....btw, which school d ya go 2? anyway, i have a speech due on week 5, and i need to get some hints about it. First is chemistry, i need to prepare a 5 min speech about a speific resource found naturally, in the litho, hydro and athmos spheres. Just one, and i'l have to explain the process on extrating/purifying it. Second is Physics, i need to have another 5 mins speech about either GPS or CD/DVD's on its storage system....dunno why for now. thanks for the help in advance
-
I am doing a speech in chemistry about some natural resource extraction. Well it is basic stuff, but i don't have an idea where to start. I am thinking of doing something about fossil fuels. I got another speech for physics, and i need some other resource for GPS other than the ones i found at howstuffworks. Any other suggestions are definitely welcome thank you in advance mcoy _+_

its very informative really. but some files need your password like some doc files. some files are missing as well. do you have broadband? well if you do, you could use their webhosting feature (most ISP has webhosting). you could also make use of some redirection sites like http://www.cjb.net, and some other sites you can search in google. anyway, i just wanna ask where you got your resources. and hey, you're doing 3 sciences like me! its such a small world after all... good luck mate

how about he made a website where the files is only accessible by him. what's the password?
-
yeah, but i got a question.... are you doing a distiction course? its new here at NSW, just started this year, http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/archives/pdf_doc/2005_distinction_exp.doc and if you are, is there any other way than just finishing 4 units of subjects, say for example physics, while i'm stil in year 11?

hey.... are we talking about the apples as individuals ,or apple as analogy of quantity?
-
thanks.....now doing research........
-
well, everybody else is doing that. that's actually my final resolve. what i have in mind though is about particle accelerators.........but as a high school student i might find a little bit of difficulty in that topic..... thanks for the advice anyway...

can anybody help me with ma physics assignment?? well, we are supposed to research an interesting technology about Physics i can do the job, but i don't know what to base my research on............ can anybody help me please?? i wanna do something about nuclear physics....... so that's quite all i can say today bye

yes but, supposedly the environment is constant, [meaning there is no physical inequalities or disturbance; like no wind blowing, the body's weight is evenly distributed, the person is walking in a perfect straight line, the center of gravity is also at the vertex (of symmetry) of the head], and the center of gravitational pull is evenly distributed, why is it easier to have an extended arm or a pole to balance while walking. the first question simply asks which of the two dumb bells would require less force. This question is very simple so u can disregard this............ __________________________________________________ am just a simple kid who want to gain simple knowledge...... mcoy _+_

HEEEEEEEEEEELPPPPPPPP!!!! I NEED THIS NOWWW!!!!!!!!!!BAD!!!!!!!!!! no. 1: which is easier to rotate between two dumb bell of the same mass with greater and lesser distance from the axis of rotation? no.2: if you walk along the top of a fence or a narrow wooden bench, why would extending your arms out help you to balance?

hey guys........ can anybody give me a picture of the Macristium chauvesi........ I've been having trouble with this............. this is the only specie left under the order Ctenothrissiformes................. thanks _____________________________ hope for the best, expect the worst

I've heard of a lot of modified foods lately, like veggies and all that... but i've heard of bacteria can used for food....! How is this possible??? i know there are a lot of "good" bacterias out there but, what i've specifically heard to provide future protein was E. Coli ........... Here, Check this out......... http://www.research.umich.edu/research_guide/nsf50/ecoli.html?print Can anybody give me more sources......please........ __________________________________________________ ..............and i've heard of a robot that "eats" sugar cubes and digests it using the bacteria escherichia coli in hawaii http://feed.proteinos.com/001204.html __________________________________________________ ***************************************** the word separating mistake and perfections is ETHICS

thanks for the answers.... I just have a few more questions..... according to answer1 the universe is said to be created (by big bang) probably inside another blackhole from another universe...but if this does happen, many universes, or multiverse as we may call it, should overlap...so what happens when it does overlap??? and supposedly big bang happened everywhere, what contained the explosion? should it be empty spaceor just energy? ----tnx
-
Ok.....so everybody tells me that the Big Bang theory is the cause of the universe' existence......... Also, the theory tells us that the big bang started with a "bang". So what type of matter is this material that exploded and where exactly is it located??
