  1. I'm sorry, did I misunderstand you or did you say black people are biologically inferior to other races like whites? If by chance you happen to think less inferior people shouldn't be on this planet, I'm laughing at the irony. Africa has been in turmoil since guns were introduced to the continent and their just supposed to bounce back from that? You expect people to be slaves, migrate north in the largest human migration ever recorded to only to end up stuck in cities where they are taken advantage of by white factory owners to be at the same economic level 200 years later? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, their the inferior ones? I think biologically, your not inferior. You just wont open your mind. I actually think your an intelligent person, I can tell by your organization and vocabulary. Your just narrow-minded, but you don't have to be
  2. We have only scratched the surface scientifically of what our illusions allow us to grasp.

My illusions allowed me to grasp a diamond-coated scalpel, so I was able to put a pretty big incision in the surface scientifically.

  3. My cousin - who I grew up around and is only 4 months older than me is gay. Were more like brothers than cousins though. I always knew he was a little different, being younger I would tease him but getting older and more mature, you just have to accept someone for who they are especially when you know they were that way since birth. I'm not going to lie when we had the talk where he confirmed to me he was attracted to the opposite sex, I felt really awkward. Even knowing my whole life, being confirmed that it was true was a very weird feeling. I thought about hugging him and it seemed almost different. After the initial shock and calming down, coming to my senses was a lot easier. That is my cousin who I'm going to love and support no matter what. How I Knew he was homosexual - We would be in the back yard, playing pretend. Were fighting a monster so I tell my cousin about the shield, sword, and armor I have on. He usually started off by saying he was a girl. Why is that relevant when were fighting a monster at age 5? As we got older in elementary school it was obvious he felt more comfortable around girls. Well now its obvious, but back then it was weird. He was born this way. Original posters opinion - I do believe that for some people, it is a choice. Although genes still probably have a lot to do with it. Growing up around someone who is gay, I got to see an individuals side of it. I can tell you that not everyone who is gay is by choice. It can be scientifically proven, it just has not been yet. They genetically engineered the aids virus to fight cancer. Theirs a lot about genetics that we are oblivious too, We have only scratched the surface scientifically of what our illusions allow us to grasp. Open your mind.
  4. Einstein said the only reason he found the answers he did was because he thought about questions longer than most people would. He didn't wear socks, would boil an egg in soap water to save time cleaning a pot, He didn't like to carry around change. He was far from the typical person. these are some of my favorite quotes from Albert - " It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer." " Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking." " A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new." " A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy?" "Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools." "He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed." "Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism - how passionately I hate them!" " I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination." "Very few are people that feel with their own hands and see with their own eyes" " Imagination is more important than knowledge " " I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation and is but a reflection of human frailty." " I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious." " I think and think for months and years. Ninety-nine times, the conclusion is false. The hundredth time I am right." " If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed." " Intellectuals solve problems, geniuses prevent them. " " It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity." " It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder." I'm sorry I went kind of overboard, just I love Einstein. I dropped out of highschool my senior year and after recentley gaining an interest in physics and learning about Einstein, I found we have very very much in common. I dropped out my senior year 2 months before graduation btw lol.
  5. microscopic aliens...
  6. What makes you, you comes down to a few basic components. Your genes and life experiences. Your genes make up the mapping of your genetic code which is the foundation of who you are, your life experiences are the house built on that foundation. Your genes can tell alot about you and your emotions while after many life experiences you have been influenced So much that you are affected by your experiences more than your genes But don't get me wrong, genes have a lot to do with it.
  7. Very few are people that feel with their own hands and see with their own eyes.

People can look at me all they want, but do you mean if people were to do as I do? I would prefer people to conduct themselves as an individual.

  8. Wow thankyou, I'll look into those links you gave me and I cant tell you how much i appreciate the help. I'm stuck between fallowing a career in psychology that will help me back up my theory on a new form of education, or fallowing a career in astronomy with minor in physics so that I may better understand the universe. Although I have 2 years really in junior college to figure out where exactly I should go, but thankyou and hopefully you wont regret telling me I'm free to ask you questions. I will have many of them lol.
  9. I'm willing to bet any species intelligent enough to leave their home planet has dropped religion and its conflicting ways.
  10. Most theories are incorrect, all we can do is make them more precise. Although we will never have them completely right, we can only make them better. Unless im mistaken doesnt special relativitey say that a precise measurement is impossible to make?
  11. I fear the day we do make contact and someone tries to convert an alien to Christianity....
  12. Well your one of the first to not call me stupid and belittle me, much appreciated.
  13. None has tried to contact us.
  14. Sometimes imagination is just as or more important than knowledge. although knowledge is a key component for a good imagination and I'm a highschool dropout. I start college in the fall though, maybe I'll make better sense after a few years of education.
  15. It means you try to conserve energy
  16. Dark matter is what holds galaxies together, unless I'm mistaken. I may be. Whatttt? thats crazy i didn't know that. So what exactly is artificial gravity? centrifugal force? Alot of things at one point were considered to be nonsense. If we could reach the temperature of the surface of the sun and then harness the energy created chemically instead of with a turbine it could be more efficient.
  17. Well now if we could find out more about dark matter then holding an atmosphere in place wouldn't be all that hard. Although the whole moon idea isn't to colonize the moon forever but get humans use to producing in space. Whats stronger artificial gravity, or the moons? I didn't even think about artificial gravity but is it strong enough to breed in? Your very right about propulsion it is the first key component to getting to space, although I think cold-fusion is what will truly allow us to sustain life in space but before we get CF we must at least make nuclear power more efficient, your very right. I think the next step in nuclear fusion is to find ways to harness chemical energy instead of kinetic.
  18. How about we just put the labels to the side? youll understand me alot better if i just say I'm somone who believes theirs more to life than we know but its such a big concept were better off being content knowing we can't know everything.
  19. Well tar i feel almost the same as you except we start to differ where im an agnostic I don't believe full information on the subject of god is attainable , its something far too vast and complex for us to fully comprehend.
  20. Well now our earth is doing all kinds of crazy shenanigans like having a hole in our ozone, which will end up hurting us. We can sustain life on this planet forever. So are we going to stay on this planet and go with it, or try to see what else the universe has to offer us? Living in space will ultimately be very hard on reproduction. a woman birthing a child for 9 months in 0 gravity doesn't sound like it will go very smoothly. So I don't think were going to one day just be able to say " hey lets go live in space " its something we must prepare for, and if we don't start soon it will never happen. step 1 - Living in space will give us almost no access to sunlight as with no natural defenses like an atmosphere or electromagnetic field will make sunlight very harmfull, We should start finding other ways to make vitamin D and get as little sunlight as possible. step 2 - We need to place very tall buildings at the tops of our tallest mountain ranges where gravity is directly between that of the strength at earths sea level and the moons surface. step 3 - after properly reproducing their, we should try going another increment between where we are on the mountains and between the moon. step 4 - We really need to find a way to channel our atmosphere through the hole it already has to the moon allowing us some protection from small space debris. step 5 - build moon bases that can withstand meteorite impact. thats only in the aspect of preparing for giving birth in space, If this were to be a legitimate plan it would have to be a lot more well planned out than my 10 minute idea lol.
  21. I like that concept of a non biological god who is everything in the universe together as a collective consciousnesses
  22. really? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID698R9fA6A
  23. I might add " so if aliens are the reason were as smart as we are today, then what aliens influenced the aliens that influenced us? " mind-fuck.
  24. I feel the same way bro Personally I think each universe has a few key ingredients/evidence black holes - Tearing a hole in parent universes to give birth to new universe CMBR - whats left of high amounts of radiation from transit through a blackhole expansion capacity - Amount a universe can expand before it ends ( maybe retracts ) ^ I can go a lot deeper into just those 3 things but I'm sure both of us will be bashed greatly on this forum for not accepting the answers everyone else does.
  25. I told you my bud was loud but you just had to open the bag
