Wow that rocks!! I allways thought it was cool that just regular water given enough time can corrode almost anything. Plus water can counter both acids and bases equally good because it is right between both acis and bases. Is that the PK scale ?? I allready forgot alot from biology.

Yeah good imputs. Philbo I don't use drugs or drink and alot of peopel are suprised that I'm in favor of legalizing them. I think we can solve the drug problem better by taking the money out of criminal hands. As far as the earlier post goes I do belive teh war on Iraq will only cause more death for us and the people in Iraq. I belive terrorism is the price of imperialism.

My solution to this problem is to legalize drugs. This would free up space for violent offenders. Plus we could spend that money on Medical care for addicts instead of teaching them how to be better criminals in jails. The war on drugs has brought more drugs. The war on poverty has brought more poverty. The war on terror will bring more terror. It's all about money and whose greedy enough to exploit human being. In the US state prisons are a huge business.

You know on that topic there are alot of famous familys that have had alot of intrabreeding say between cousins and it didn't seem to hurt them. Seems I read an article in Discover about this.

some stats - There is a direct relationship between a mother's age and having a baby with Down syndrome. For women under 30 the chance is less than one in 1000, but at age 35 the chance is 1 in 400; at age 40 the chance is 1 in 105; and at age 44 the chance is 1 in 35. When either parent has had a child with a chromosomal abnormality, there are at least 1 or 2 chances in 100 that a subsequent child will have severe birth defects associated with chromosomal abnormalities. For some specific types of chromosomal abnormalities the risk is even higher. We are having our second child and sometimes I think about this subject. There are so many other genetic defects that are worse than downs. No matter what we are keeping the baby even if we knew it would be a downs baby. Can you imagine what kind of genetic sceince will be going on in say 200 years?
