yeah i gigured that i should use this formula S=Vit+1/2at^2 or S= Vf^2-Vi^2/2a but i dont have the acceleration.. i dont know what to do
-
ohh.. yeah Sy is the y, meaning the length,, the ahmmm... the length yeah it is the length

Hello Guys thanks for opening up this topic so here it is: 1) An ultrasound scanner is being used as a sonar device to locate a metal fragment embedded in patient. The method is to produce a sound pulse and time the echo from the fragment (pulse-echo technique) if the sound speed in tissue is 1500m/s and the time from the pulse to echo is 4 microsecond , what is the depth of the fragment? When i analyzed this problem, i first thought about the Sy , as the one that is looking for, but im not really sure please help me guys thank you
-
thats ok sir, i finally understand it thank you so much for all the help!
-
ohh thank you!
-
thank you but, what if the problem is not asking for the conversion km/s to miles only? should i ignore the seconds?
-
OHH ! so thats how! you need to divide it ! thank you!
-
actually the whole problem is written on the "Homework" page named "Problem Solving" hope you can help me guys
-
no it is stated on the problem that we hace to convert from given unit to miles... sir can i ask... for example i will convert 40km/h to miles... should it be 24.84miles/sec?
-
Thank YOu So MUCH!
-
sir is this conversion now right? 40 km to miles and i got 24.84 miles/sec then 20 meters to miles = .01miles/sec then 60 ft to miles = .011miles/sec
-
ok 14.01 ? yeah im sorry sir can i have another question im having a difficulty on what is the formula that im going to use if the problem is looking for speed and displacement, what should i use on speed and what for displacement? because on my notes they have the same formula (when i ask my teacher, he wont answer me clearly)

3600 meters?? sir can u teach me how to convert units like that compound units im afraid that it will come out on our exam tomorrow i want to get high grade please teach me

I Have my new answers!!! please check them for me: a=11.04m b=14.76m/s^2 c=1.75sec. correct or still wrong?
-
3600 seconds sir and on ft.. .011 sir...
-
yeah my answer on a was my answer on b , sorry typo error.. my answer on a is 11.04m i dont know how to get c ...
-
HOw Sir? first on 40km/h i converted 40 km to miles and i got 24.84 miles then 20 meters to miles = .01 then 60 ft to miles = .01 i dont know what to do with the time.. ?
-
on a, i used Sy=1/2gt^2 on b, i used t=square root of 2Sy/g then i solved for the acceleration a= Vf-Vi/t then i solved for Sy=1/2gt^2 for c, i used , t=square root of 2Sy/g

PLease check if my answers are correct" Pyulo Pascual had abroken heart because he saw his beloved in a romantic mood with Zac Efron. So Pyulo jumped from top of the building (a) What is the distance he fell in 1.5 sec? (b) What was his speed after falling 10 m? © HOw Long did it take him to fall 15 m? my answers: (a) 14.715m (b) 10.03 m/s^2 © 3.06 sec. thanks guys

Hey guys Im just here to ask if my answer is correct, if not please help me because im trying to get ready for our exam tomorrow , so here it is: Five students went on a trip to the North of California. They traveled at an average of 40km/hr in 3 hrs before taking a snack at Mcdonalds. On the second leg of the trip , they traveled at an average of 20m/s in 2hrs. before taking a coffee break at Starbucks. Then they finally traveles at an average of 60 ft/s in 1 1/2 hours before reaching theyre final destination. What was the total distance they covered in MILES? here is my answer S= 53.885 miles * i used the V= Vi +Vf/2 and S=vt thanks guys

Hello. IM here to ask how to convert this Km\hr to Miles\seconds yeah i know you will refer me to google but i already did that but i cant find articles that can answer me clearly thanks guys! so all in all HOw to convert compound units? thanks
-
oh im sorry im new here, now i know thanks sorry!

because Good Day guys, i do not intend to get the answers from you i just want some ideas because honestly i cant understand my teacher. i have a lot of Questions and problems here: 1. Prove that a gun will shoot three times as high when its angle of elevation is 60as when it is 30, but will carry the same horizontal distance.
