living organisms made of non living elements
marine(uc) replied to marine(uc)'s topic in Speculations
i just thought that mabey since we are mostly water, and life starts in hot water. that mabey lightning may have struck teh water, and the energy lached onto an element. and by doing this, it was able to create a single cell of an orgasnism. mabey it used a few elements -

yah, it's foolish to think you need a replicate earth for an alien speices to be created. the only species that would need a replicate earth to live on, is us. well. you can't say thats silly. how can a one cell organim learn to live and expand?? it has 1 cell. nobody knows how the first cells were created. i can't imagine how they did the cross-over from element to organism. BUT i garantee it has to do something with energy, heat and water. energy being the key ingredient. i think that elements with energy make life. because in the end all we are is lifeless elements filled with energy. take us apart atom by atom and we are just elements. I believe we are just an evolution of elements. -
okay, i think im in the wrong section... is there one for philosophy?
-
yes, i know that. i included that in what i wrote. that in the experiment we are basing time as what we currently are seeing. not what the object is currently doing.

I have proven faster then light is an impossibility

ohhh thats really interesting lol. i read the grandfather paradox. thats a neat situation -

lol im only 17. whats causality mean? and FTL? -
yah, i get it. your supposed to test a theory. but the point of myn wasn't the speed of light. it was the other part. why do you insist on making this so difficult. its like you guys live by the theory of reletivity. you know what. what if using science we broke that rule?? what if we were able to affect time and space itself. heres an idea to help you, there is no known velocity that spacetime can move, as in the spacetime fabric itself. Move that and you're set for time travel. I don't think facts are relevant here, at least in new science, you can use facts to help support your ideas but remember that they exlplain science with a limited perspetive, that is, the present's perspective. this is all philosophical, and you guys are too picky too understand that.

I'm really new at this, i have a crazy theory on evolution okay, i was thinking of this today and we are essentially just elements in a living form. if we were taken apart atom by atom, all it would be is a pile of water and various other elements. Now i was thinking of this, and does that mean we are simply an evolution of elements?? think of it, all we are is a living form. under certain conditions is an evolution of elements to create life and expand it, and try and make it as advanced as possible to extend itself and expand.a is our elemental make-up each of those elements trying to manifest itself for a reason i don't understand. because think about it, life was created from nothing.. from heat, water electricity w.e. ect. it was created from basic elements which expanded into the creature. us humans are mostly water and so was our starting enviornment. does that mean water used cells to evolve and since we were always around water from an early stage, it has made us into mostly water creatures and made it a necessary element of our survival... I don't believe that on every planet you need water to live. i've heard plenty of times, there won't be many planets like earth and they will be extremely hard to find due to correct conditions needed. but i don't believe every planet will need water to sustain life. if i am correct and we are element evolution, life could grow anywhere, and use widely available liquid as its source of life. and evolve from that element

oh. i thought people only thought it was unattainable. i didn't think they thought of what would happen if you acually went faster. -
ohh i thought this one was theroetics, not physics. in a theoretics section, you'd think id be able to say theorys without having the means of achieving something torn apart when they weren't what i was proposing in my theory.
-
wow, im just stating a theory I made. I didn't come to have the means of this theory torn apart. this isn't about the light travel at all. its about the result if it was achieved. don't think about the impossible part, lets just say we magically find a way to go faster.

yes it would have. your just in denial. that guy was ahead of even our time right now.

Okay ive tried a couple drugs like acid once and a few other drugs. When your on these drugs, your perception of time is slowed down. and with other drugs it's sped up. Now this is what happens when your brain reacts to certain drugs. now what if that means, our brain controls our perception of time. if anyone here has ever been in a fight, or had an big accident or fell off a bike. sometimes, time just slows directly down.. like impossibly slow, if time was like that an hour would feel like weeks. that means time is merely a perception. Now our brain is amazingly advanced. what if time was constantly fluxuating, moving back in time forth. constantly moving minutes, weeks even months back in time. or going forward a month, then back 2 weeks. going really fast, then slowing down, then going fast backwards.. then slowing forwards. what if our brain took EVERYTHING in constantly, and layed it out for you in a way you could understand a line, a single line and turned all this backwards forwards movement time does and puts it into a straight line and does this seperately from the rest of the brain which controls memory and is completely subconcious and unconnected with memory or anything like that. mabey certain drugs can slow down time, because it messes with the brains time speed function. mabey the back and forth through time may not be true, but what if the speed was. and the brain leveled out the speed so it was always normal. that would explain how a drug can so widely change our speed because it ruins the brains ability to do it properly and it slows it down. or even things like slowing it down for a accident. what if we could learn how to slow it down permanently or speed it up permanently? and if this is all true, then time could just be a constantly changing and moving thing and our brain just an amazing interpretation that takes it all in and puts it out in the proper order for us too see. this may sound crazy, im only 17 and don't know if this acually sounds reasonable or not.

All we are is energized elements.. is this what they do when they combine?? non-living material + energy = living material, elements that move and expand. What do you guys think about this?
