(-1)^(1/x) = i*sin(pi/x) + cos(pi/x) where x>=4 is this equation new?
Semjase replied to Semjase's topic in Mathematics
Wolfram Alpha gave the correct result -
An exact equation for pi as a function of e and pi - are e and pi correct?
Semjase replied to Semjase's topic in Mathematics
With the an exact equation for e I've derived an exact equation for pi without e pi=(-2*i)/(log,base(i),((cos(1/2)+i*sin(1/2))^(2/i))) does this also mean that pi and e are both not transcendental numbers? e=(cos(1/2) +i*sin(1/2))^(2/i) -
(-1)^(1/x) = i*sin(pi/x) + cos(pi/x) where x>=4 is this equation new?

I'm just curious as to why that equation didn't work when plugged into google calculator when x<4? -
I've found an exact equation for e without pi e=(cos(1/2)+i*sin(1/2))^(2/i) does this mean that e is not a transcendental number?

Does antimatter repulse ordinary matter, that's what Cern's Alpha experiment is trying to find out. If this is the case what would it mean for the theory of gravity under relativity? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-22355187

Consciousness survives death, research seems to support this Quote " A number of scientific studies carried out by independant researchers have demonstrated that 10-20 percent of people who go through cardiac arrest and clinical death report lucid, well structured thought processes, reasoning, memories and sometimes detailed recall of events during their encounter with death." Here's a documented case where essentially the brain wasn't required for the functioning of the consciousness. Quote "in 1980, Roger Lewin published "Is Your Brain Really Necessary ?" in the prestigious journal Science, discussing the work of Dr John Lorber- arguably the world's top expert on a condition called hydrocephaluas, or "water on the brain". "Here's a direct quote from Lewin's paper about this astonishing phenomenon. "There's a young student at this university," asys Lorber, "who has an IQ of 126, has gained a first-class hoors degree in mathematics, and is socially completely normal. And yet the boy has virtually no brain." The student's physician at the university noticed that the youth had a slightly larger than normal head, and so referred him to Lorber, simply out of interest. "When we did a brain scan on him," Lorber recalls, "we saw that instead of the normal 4.5- centimeter thickness of brain tissue between the ventricles and the cortical surface, there was just a thin layer of mantle a millimeter or so.. His cranium is filled mainly with cerebrospinal fluid."

The patch was of the original Apollo 20 mission that was officially cancelled. What would really clear this mystery up is the image of the three astronauts at the 3 minute 32 second mark of the Apollo 20 video could all be positively identified as who Rutledge claims them to be as William Rutlege,Leona Snyder and Alexei Leonov in 1975. William Rutledge who was 76 years old in 2007 couldn't possibly of faked that photograph, it was just lying around for him to use in in 2007 I don't think so. Here's an image of Rutledge's secret Apollo 20 mission patch
-
I was referring to the photograph of the patch being faked , you could obviously could get a patch made up, why bother? Rutledge alone released this information, it would take a lot of money a number of people to fake that Apollo footage. Who's going to pay for it and why? How could they keep the whole thing quiet? Maybe professional assessment of this footage maybe in order. Remote viewers confirm Rutledge's story Quote "This video comprises footage of the secret joint US/Soviet mission to the backside of the Moon that allegedly took place in 1976 and launched from SLC-6, Vandenberg Air Force base. The video also contains a short video clip of one of several professional Controlled Remote Viewers who had worked the “target” to CRV Stage-6, which includes rendering various aspects of the target in clay. In addition, there is a short video sequence demonstrating a fairly recent discovery that, during later Stages of a remote viewing session, when the aperture in the liminal layer separating the conscious from the subconscious is widened (assuming the remote viewer is “on the signal line”), the subconscious mind will yield up information about the target that is responsive to a “blind” target cue–in reverse–which is hidden from the remote viewer’s conscious awareness. In this case, data consistent with the story related by Apollo 20 commander (CDR) William Rutledge."

Here's something a little more credible a close-up photo of a Apollo 20 patch from the mission which obviously cannot be easily faked, a custom made patch? There's other credible information on this page as well concerning Apollo 20. http://reinep.wordpress.com/2011/06/03/apollo-20-real-or-a-cover-up/ Here's the translation of the Latin encrytion on the patch Quote "Historically, the phrase was likely in popular use at the time, but is most famously quoted in Virgil's Bucolica (“Bucoliche”) IX, 50. Daphnis, why are you gazing at the old constellations rising? See! the star [comet] of Caesar, seed of Dione, has gone forth – the star to make the fields glad with corn, and the grape deepen its hue on the sunny hills. Graft your pears, Daphnis; your children’s children shall gather the fruits you have sown."

Here's an independent in depth analysis of William Rutledge's claims of the secret Apollo 20 mission and he was one of the Astronauts onboard that mission. http://www.angelismarriti.it/ANGELISMARRITI-ENG/REPORTS_ARTICLES/Apollo20-InterviewWithWilliamRutledge.htm

Is this Apollo 20 footage authentic or faked, if faked for what reason and how? Any opinions?

This question actually depends on if God really does exist? First I'll give my best evidence for the existence for a God or Creator. The existence of anything that has come into reality, that is proven to be impossible under all known appliciable scientific properties, outside of an evolutionary process. The discovery of Alien life throughout the universe that's based on DNA that has evolved independly of each other would be strong evidence of a Creator. The fact that this universe is solely matter where is it's antimatter components required under pair creation, that would indicate the creation of the universe is not a naturally occuring event. Why is the world controlled by the law, why does a court of law hold you accountable to God for the truthfulness of your testimony? Evidence for life after death, how is the afterlife a natural thing? It is proven in a scientific reality that you no matter how far you go back in time that will have something or nothing, that gives you two possibilities for God, 1 he is a structure that always has been here and can never be explained that even he could not explain, 2 he evolved out of the properties of nothing and came first. Believing purely in science I will only accept the second explanation since everything here seems to orignate from science. If science allows it and the Creator is not self-destructive and no one is above him who has evolved elsewhere in the vaccuum of nothing, then he will be here forever

This is the most definitive information I've seen on the subject

Exactly what are these two life form like looking objects that don't seem to fit in with the natural Martian landscape?
-
Here's another video another fake?
-
Is this evidence of life on Mars or an elaborate hoax? Does anyone else have any evidence of life on Mars?
-
I rest my case on this video. How anyone could say that all spectators and events were faked is beyond me. This makes a case for telekinesis if there ever was one.

If the science of metaphysics is not known how can a prediction be made? But provable examples of metaphysics are are known. For example the real image we see in front of us, how can that be expained by the function of brain chemistry alone? How can chemistry create that image? Intuition is another example of metaphysics, there are numerous example of lives being saved and criminal cases being solved through intuition. Intuition is proven to work but the science is not known.

Good point. I can understand Dawkins problem he has with organized religion which is based on a very primative intervention on mankind which has not led to a more peaceful intelligent civilization.For mankind to survive I think it has to move away from religion to peaceful coexistence based on intelligence rather than unsubstantiated Earth based religions, I think this is what Dawkins is getting at. Intelligent design will most likely be the religion of tomorrow that even Dawkins won't argue with. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligent_design

Metaphysics is a science remote viewing works, it is a learnable scientific technique to aquire information from outside our five senses the military relies on it to gather intelligence.This technique is proven to work but the science of it is not understood. Alien life on other planets would have about zero chance of evolving with the same DNA system we have.Even Dawkins is entertaining intelligent design for life on our planet. Support amoung experts of evolutionary origins of life on our planet is in decline. quote "DAWKINS: Well, it could come about in the following way. It could be that at some earlier time, somewhere in the universe, a civilization evolved, probably by some kind of Darwinian means, probably to a very high level of technology, and designed a form of life that they seeded onto perhaps this planet. Now, um, now that is a possibility, and an intriguing possibility. And I suppose it's possible that you might find evidence for that if you look at the details of biochemistry, molecular biology, you might find a signature of some sort of designer. Why on earth would someone who vehemently argues against the existence of God by quoting Occam's Razor talk about space aliens designing and seeding life on planet earth?! Well, Darwin's Theory, although still hugely popular with the scientific masses and the educated public, is coming under increasing attack. A few very eminent and very serious scientists, including Nobel Prize Winners, are arguing that Darwin's Theory just doesn't work (eg Roger Penrose, probably the world's top scientific mind today). These scientists are not necessarily saying that this proves the existence of God, they are just saying scientists have absolutely no idea what caused life on Earth to originate and evolve. Whilst Richard Dawkins is still selling a record number of pro-Darwinian books to the public, in the upper echelons of the scientific community support for evolution is undoubtedly in decline. There are several major problems with Darwin's Evolution but for the sake of brevity I will detail here only the most popular one. Some notes on other problems can be found at this footnote." Be careful of the word junk quote "In genomics and related disciplines, noncoding DNA sequences are components of an organism's DNA that do not encode protein sequences. Some noncoding DNA is transcribed into functional noncoding RNA molecules (e.g. transfer RNA, ribosomal RNA, and regulatory RNAs), while others are not transcribed or give rise to RNA transcripts of unknown function. The amount of noncoding DNA varies greatly among species. For example, over 98% of the human genome is noncoding DNA,[1] while only about 2% of a typical bacterial genome is noncoding DNA. Initially, a large proportion of noncoding DNA had no known biological function and was therefore sometimes referred to as "junk DNA", particularly in the lay press. Some sequences may have no biological function for the organism, such as endogenous retroviruses. However, many types of noncoding DNA sequences do have important biological functions, including the transcriptional and translational regulation of protein-coding sequences. Other noncoding sequences have likely, but as-yet undetermined, functions. (This is inferred from high levels of homology and conservation seen in sequences that do not encode proteins but, nonetheless, appear to be under heavy selective pressure.) The Encyclopedia of DNA Elements (ENCODE) project[2] suggested in September 2012 that over 80% of DNA in the human genome "serves some purpose, biochemically speaking".[3] This conclusion however is strongly criticized by other scientists.[4][5]" To Quote Dawkins "primative ameoba have as much information in their DNA as 1000, Encyclopedia Britannicas" " there is enough information capacity in a single human cell to store the Encyclopedia Britannicas, all 30 volumes of it, three or fout times over" So therefore their's ten times more DNA in that primative ameoba than in a human cell. It raises some questions?
