Hi,
My name is Cathy Ennis and I'm researching in the Games and Virtual Worlds group in Utrecht University. I am running a perceptual experiment at the moment and need some new volunteers!
Details of the experiment:
You will be asked to view a series of short animations of a 3D Character (30 in total).
After viewing each animation, you will be asked to rate the presence of a number of emotions in the character's motions.
Duration: It will depend on how long it takes you to answer each question, approx. 1 hour. I have added a new feature that allows you to save your progress and continue later if needed.
Deadline: This experiment will be online until Friday the 12th October
Reward: As a compensation, anyone who completes the experiment by the deadline will be entered into a raffle to win an iPod Shuffle.

Attachment: Please find attached the list of emotions you will be rating in the videos, and a definition to use as a guideline.
If you think you will be able to do the experiment, it would be great if you could email me to let me know, so I have an idea of the number of participants for the experiment.
Thank you,
Cathy
