  1. I am perplexed on a question my instructor has for me. She has given us 4 different pathways which are: 1. afferent arteriole, glomerulus, glomerular capsule,PCT, peritubular capillaries, renal vein 2. afferent arteriole, glomerulus, efferent arteriole, peritubular capillaries, renal vein 3. afferent arteriole, glomerulus, efferent arteriole, peritubular capillaries, DCT, urine 4. afferent arteriole, glomerulus, glomerular capsule, PCT, Loop of Henle, DCT, urine Which pathway corresponds to a filtered and non-reabsorbed substance? Which pathway corresponds to a non-filtered substance? Which pathway corresponds to a non-filtered but secreted substance? Which pathway corresponds to a filtered and reabsorbed substance? I am having a hard time understanding the first question. If it is filtered, then it has to go through the glomerular capsule but the only two options have the PCT in them which is where reabsorption occurs. Can anyone please help me with this?
