    I give up..............

    What is it?

Is it used as a dye?

    What is it?

If there is some substance to this what is it give us a hint!
  4. You could a) Learn physical chemistry which depending on what you already know and with regards to your question will take some time or b)use a chart hope this helps.

    What is it?

I'm going with option 'This is an imaginary compound!'

    What is it?

I am a stronger greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. I exist on ocean floors in the form of frozen hydrates and if I where to be release by the warming of the oceans I would increase global warming drastically. R you aware of who I am? sorry he posted while I had the reply window open >< I'll guess an answer for his cyclohexylmagnesium bromide.................

    laser

Well I said kind of because I had known they could, I was however incorrect in that they don't do it very well. I have gone over some material which still suggests the existence of advantages with YAG over CO2 in the actual cutting but these are not inhibiting factors(obviously.) Also the savings in power consumption of CO2 lasers seem to be of greater advantage. It was interesting going over the material. thx

    laser

Missile intercept testing apparently begins or began this month..... http://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/abl/ it really takes time to get stuff like this going eh! I thought C02 was kind of limited to organic and YAG was kind of limited to metal..............
  9. <DJBruce>: so you becoming a mod Ydoaps <buttacup>: no I think there's a no cuties allowed policy <buttacup>: <buttacup>: (should yo attain mod plz disregard statement ) <UC>: ydoaPs shouldn't be given any more power than operating a plunger. <buttacup>: ^Irony <buttacup>: or ironical statement <UC>: eh? <buttacup>: Nuclear power technician <UC>: I know. :\ I fear for my life <buttacup>: yus <UC>: hence "shouldn't" <buttacup>: wonder who the smart ass was <buttacup>: hey let's give the job to him I'm sorry daddyO
  10. Plz it's miss buttacup despite the periodic uncertainties of some thx............... yoDaddy made me do it..............................
  11. There's the Sir Isaac Newton Exam every year from Waterloo. It's open to all Canadian students and it looks like international students as well. http://sin.uwaterloo.ca/history.php It's just an exam but there are prizes.......... http://sin.uwaterloo.ca/awards.php I remember taking it. ><time warp><
  12. Which is not Capacitor-Free! But these seem to be coming out soon and is capacitor free........ 13. 1) This would depend on what the internals of the transducer was comprised of........there are a number of symbols that could be used. If it used induction a coil would be appropriate, if it used piezoelectric crystals there are transistor symbols appropriate to this case, looking at wiki one of these Wheatstone Bridge! 2)Look up boolean algebra........................

  15. The one on your left is a Transistor Logic representation of a logic AND gate. I assume you understand how it works because you didn't pay any regard to it. The one on your right is Diode Logic............diode logic......... Diode logic is a bit difficult to understand as a logic device because it utilizes less logic and more electrical prinicples to make it work. By this I mean it has to do with balancing the resistance of the system more so rather than just switching. Current methods of building logic systems do not implement diode logic as it has many limitations..........
  16. I'll look through the big book of integration tables, thanks for noting this AJB!
  17. misread statement delete post.......thank you! [Edit] here I'll make myself useful....... Empty Product

  19. Logic gates make executing a program possible in a number of ways. There are two buses the data bus and the address bus. Through what's known as encoders and decoders, which are a logical construct of a combination of logic gates, addressing becomes possible via the address bus. The address bus points to locations in memory or to locations in storage devices such as hard drives etc. which contain programmed code. Programmed code is not English inside a processor it is a culmination of what's known as machine code. The programming language for a cpu is known as it's instruction set. An instruction set is made up of commands like jump to this memory location, add this data stored in this place to that data stored in that place and so on. Logic gates make these codes what they are. Codes are assigned values and when this value enters the cpu through the data bus it initiates a series of actions again controlled by logic gates. During a set of clock cycles a number of these operations are performed. When you put millions of these little codes together they form coherent structures known as programs which we as people take advantage of and enjoy! and that's the quick answer...............
  20. I'm starting to get a clearer picture of what I'm asking. So I'm looking to approach the problem of integrating factorials for use in probability equations. I guess what I was missing here is that to integrate factorials you must first represent it as some function. This led me to Gamma Functions as they are representations of factorials. So to find the integral of a factorial I must find the integral of a Gamma Function. This can be done with some difficulty yes/no? It is to my understanding that approaching integration of Gamma Functions is usually done numerically! Apparently there are other such ways of approaching integration of factorials of which I am now reviewing. I'm sure a lot of this is covered in a book I haven't started which at the moment is not in my presence...............I hope to be going through this book next week. I find it odd that the online material for this stuff is somewhat unavailable, well, as a referenced topic; probability relies heavily on factorials. Is there some reason for this that I'm overlooking?
  21. I wouldn't try taking apart an LCD monitor to find these wires as they are not visible. They are a compilation of thin film wires and transistors making up what is known as an 'active matrix!' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thin_film_transistor_liquid_crystal_display
  22. But it's still expressed in terms of the [math] \Gamma[/math] Function hence the interest!
  23. When n is greater than a the resulting factorial is undefined!
  24. This is something I am going over but my original thoughts where more focused on Gamma distribution and probability! I'm going through a slew of information with this one.
  25. I am assuming you are just trying to make a simple bridge rectified power supply with a pi filter.......... 1)if the transformer is center tapped you can get full wave diode rectification but it will halve your voltage if you need the voltage as is and ripple is not of concern, which I'm pretty sure is not the case here as you are trying to filter the output, then do a half bridge both the two diode full bridge and the half bridge circuits can be found easily through google 2)Not sure why you would be connecting the voltage regulators in parallel you should be able to get one with a sufficient current rating(connecting two in parallel may be counter productive.) These tend to be placed in between the two capacitors connected in parallel. They are not connected in parallel with the two capacitors they are connected in series with the output. This is why it's called a pi filter two capacitors form the legs and the voltage regulator forms the tilda cap of pi! this is all pretty basic so sorry if I misinterpreted your post but I'm not seeing the question any other way.
