3. When finding the derivative of something; there's little shortcuts...ie. power of a funx rule, product rule, etc. etc. Are there any shortcuts for the integration of a funx?
4. Don't be too vain...hehe; but you could be right. Isn't that what Business and / or commerce is? lol I see where you're coming from; there's such a pressure for us to become a contributing member of society; but then again; you push for creativity. What is creativity? Remember, not everyone can be a Picasso, or compose like Beethoven; it's hard to put black & white guidlines on grey areas.

Vectors!

Draw both vectors relative to the origin; and mark the angles from the (+) independent axis. ground velocity Velocity someone sees on the ground = air velocity Velocity seen at the cockpit + wind velocity Velocity of the wind. Do a little trig; & Voila! Does that help?

18. Of course. Everything will keep being revised. I think it was faf that said even when we know everything, there will just be more to learn later. A good example is Quantum Mechanics. It's really intuitive right now; maybe 50 years from know, we'll all have a better understanding of it...hopefully

20. dave, I saw your methods on a site, & it was pretty cool b/c it was a java applet, and allowed you to fiddle around with the values; although I didn't get the gist of it. Cool stuff; thanks guys; Edward...I don't get your method though...lol
21. How does something like: sin(A+B) become sinA cosB + coaA sinB ? Likewise with: cos(A-B) = cosA cosB + sinA sinB ooh..& this one: tan(A+B) = (tanA + tanB) / 1 + tanA tanB I just don't understand how you can expand them...I'm guessing there's no distributive property in this situations... Please reply ASAP. Thanks.
22. How about dave prove them for us?
23. I remember reading about the derivative or integration of -inifinity or infinity; that's pretty cool. Anyone know it offhand?
