  1. Well, from what I understand, matter & energy warp space; this warping is almost like a push or pull. Gravity is exerted by objects with mass, so we are pulled towards this mass. As Newton's law of Universal Gravitation states, the force of gravity is proportional to the two masses [ie., the Earth and you] and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them [so force decreases fourfold as distance is widened 2 times]
  2. So are you in Mensa? hehe
  3. Well; it'll be hard at first. Just work hard. Gain recognition in the field of Physics, ie. give presentations, talks, etc. Then, people will start paying you to attend their conferences or give presentations, whether they be Physics or Non-physics.

  8. Maybe they're not challenged enough? English is a good course! I liked it! hehe Anatomy / Physiology, I guess its just an intro course; have fun! Maybe it'll boost your grades Is the computers software or hardware? Oooh...chem! FUn Fun hahaa
  9. Wow, what a statement! lol What a guy, huh? Enough of that, I'm against this. The lower 10% as Watson says, are stupid. So what? I'm thinking something along the lines of this: What is intelligence anyways? The rating on the IQ scale? As they say about beauty, its all subjective This relates back to a thread somewhere on SF talking about machines taking over mankind; if we want to be super-smart and super efficient, why not just design machines to take us over? They'll be much better than we are, right? [also reminds of a novel, I think it was called Brave New World by Aldous Huxley]
  10. Well, over my 4 years of secondary school that is; not in one year! hehe
  11. Well, under my new curriculum, I'm allowed 12 electives.
  12. Do you get to choose who's TA to be? What are your electives? They seem all like straight hardcore courses! Wow, what a guy...
  13. So when you say 90%, is it b/c the other 10% has just completely deceased? or is it plainly not in use? I shall fight for the Linux army! Oh no, Gates is onto me...arghh...the Blue Screen!! ......
  14. umm...erm..something along those lines...lol This is very sujective; who even knows if our scientific models will hold true 200 years from now? We can't even tell if reality is as it seems right now; instead of asking how much we don't know, I feel a more progressive question would be how much we do know.
  15. Or would you? Now, I'm no BIO major, so I don't really know if this would work, but: What if you could transplant your brain into your body @ any age? The brain is responsible for all functions of the body, so you would retain your memory right? However, to contradict myself about, I read somewhere that some cells, or whatnot can only divide a certain amount of times, which is why we die of natural causes...any input?
  16. What year of U are you at?
  17. hehe, that's what would happen with simple Newonian mechanics. But @ speeds approaching c, relativity begins to come into play.

  21. eww...I think that's enough SF for me today...
  22. Gimme' an example.
  23. Well, my teacher said that humans may have a wave nature, so maybe the frequency of such EM radiation is resonating a specific part of us.
  24. Are you sure you don't want company? After all, we are all human... lol
