  1. It's sad isn't it... So what's your take on it? You seem to be speaking form a 3rd person perspective. I think you're right, that our makeup is too inefficient, but our lives are not about being efficient. It's about...well...I'm not sure. But back to the topic, you sound like you're saying the leap is inevitable.
  2. What if it turns out to be like how the people of the past thought the Earth was flat? lol
  3. Do you know how long this time is? B/c I'm sure we've all heard of someone running, and suddenly gettint their head chopped off, but the body will still run for a while; the heart is a different concept right?

    Coldest Known Place

What do you mean by ex's?
  5. The Maths & Sciences? Well, its all relative:-p ; to you, they'd be like a stroll in the park right? lol Well, to be honest, I'll give you a breakdown of our cirriculum: Grade 12 Advanced Calcalus - Fairly easy right now; learning the secants & tangent problem Grade 12 Advanced Geometry & Discrete Mathematics - I think its a course centered around proofs in the math world; intro to combinatorics, 3-D geometry, mathematical induction... Grade 12 Advanced Physics - Continuation of Kinematics, Energy & Momentum, Wave Nature, Wave-Particle duality, & our last unit: Special Relatvity Grade 12 Advanced Chemistry - I have it this semester, so I can't really give you a synopsis on it; based on what I've heard, my peers so equilibrium is fairly hard...I'm not really sure what it even is yet Grade 12 Advanced Biology - Can't say; I haven't taken BIO since it was req'd in Grade 10 I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but in Ontario, secondary schools were previously allowed 5 years, but recently, they crammed it down to four; my year being the first to initiate such system... I think it really sucks, b/c many of us feel as if we're immature to handle such a leap to post-secondary; especially since we were conditioned to have 5 years secondary in our previous years of education Also, we miss out on courses like the Grade 13 Astrophysics course...
  6. Well, you never want to lose.
  7. Well, due to the size of the wooly mammoth, I'm guessing it's a fairly large eater...even if it's a herbivore, think of how much plants it would eat! This could seriously disrupt the food chain of our current ecosystems; which eventually, will screw humans as well as the many animals losing out on their food.
  8. So do you think life can be made up of a bunch of binary sequences?
  9. I hope it stays at two.
  10. Why'd you have to go to prison in the first place?
  11. I thought they said the roswell incident was a hoax... As for the mysterious force, maybe it was dark matter; or maybe an alien being shoved it back to delay an interception...
  12. Well, I dont know about how the school system in your area is, but in Toronto, I find that the schools tend to push us into the Maths and the Sciences. They care nothing for the arts and creativity, only ingenuity.
  13. Well, the way I see it, cloning is a selfish thing. Humans want to be immortal, that's the bottom line.
  14. But seriously, what about the Jurrasic Park situation? It could get out of hand... On the other hand, do you really want to play god?
  15. :feedback:
  16. Is this site credible? I mean, looks like I could make those pictures on Paint.

:ripped: :dunno: :bravo: I've never seen anything so cheesy...lol
  21. I know faf has this title on his username. I was wondering though; isn't this ironic? I mean: Both have to do with not accepting something; so what does that make them in conjunction with each other?
  22. Well, there's a good side to that too; I mean, if fusion were to go at such a rate, I guess our dear solar system's lifespan would be drastically cut short.
  23. Have you guys come upon this article or anything similar? If so, [or not], what are your thoughts? http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=thestar/Layout/Article_Type1&c=Article&cid=1035777849035&call_page=TS_Canada&call_pageid=968332188774&call_pagepath=News/Canada
  24. They're saying the same thing about February 12th now as well; as there was level orange on that day; mainly b/c New York's area code was 212
