is this a tenable position: the singularity is pure energy and this is also pure consciousness/awareness/being. for some reason the singularity expands and in this process energy is released and mass arises.

just had some thoughts on the issue of higgs and dark matter/energy. consciousness (not individual but universal) is pretty much energy. In terms of quantum physics it could be said that it is consciousness that collapses waves of potential matter in to localizable real matter. Furthermore it is energy (consciousness) that holds separate particles together. If i am not mistaken it is upon joining that the elementary particles gain mass. Could it be consciousness instead of higgs that provides mass, also could this be related to dark matter/energy. Although this is probably utter nonsense to a physicist it must be remembered that our entire reality occurs within consciousness. It is the most fundamental and indubitable property of reality.
