I am interested in changing my career to one in computer science - web development or web design. I have an undergrad in Interior Design and a masters in Adult Education. I have always been strong in math, and enjoyed it, and have had the opportunity to work on SharePoints and a CMS system - just from the front end though.
In getting an education or credentials to get started down this path, would an Associates Degree at a community college be a good way to get entry into the field? Or would that be rather useless, and I should look into a Bachelors instead? What if I learned programming on my own?
