    Anarchy

It sounds like you incline more toward libertarianism than anarchism. I don't think there have ever been any practical examples of a functioning anarchy. Failed states like Somalia are sometimes called anarchys but in reality are run by warlords. Power structures always seem to develop in human societies, it appears to be innate.
  2. I'd like to think that was a joke. I was right, it is scary.
  3. Sounds good, could you clone me a hobbit while you're there please? Or a mammoth or a thylacine? Now that would be cool!
  4. That depends on which fuels you are thinking about. Coal reserves are estimated to be nearer 200 years. Whilst oil and gas to be much closer to the 20-80 year figure.
  5. What is 'Ebonics'? It sounds scary.
  6. I'm particularly interested in the opinions of the Australians in the forum. Going to the horses mouth.
  7. Would that make the child some sort of Demi God? If so it might be the right time to be lightweight in Israeli bonds.
  8. You don't need to apologise for believing in reason. Well said.
  9. They're such wimps! And it was only four cows. Some people are just so over sensitive.
  10. Their eco friendly LPG people carrier surely?
  11. India, Canada, Australia and a variety of other places including a huge chunk of Africa add up to more than the Mongols ruled.
  12. What's so strange about bonfire night? We might as well start saying July 4th or Thanksgiving is strange. Anyway it's a good excuse to light a big fire and let of fireworks.
  13. What do you guys think about the Australian states treatment of Aboriginals?
  14. The Romans? Johnny come latelys. Don't you ever ask 'what did Homo Erectus ever do for us?'
  15. Yes, it's carefully stored in a big cardboard box with lots of friends to keep it company. But i'm sure it's missing you much as much as Kim is missing me. Perhaps the red cross can arrange an exchange?
  16. Please don't judge Britain by the Sun or the Mirror. They are our gutter press tabloids. There is a fair bit of anti Bush sentiment in the UK, i'm afraid some of it seems to come from prejudice as much as genuine political disagreement. But don't think everyone holds those opinions.
  17. The Sun is not exactly the most reputable commentator on diplomatic matters. And it sounds more like petulant sour grapes from Chirac than the turning of any 'knife'.
  18. Fossil remains show that early hunter gathers were taller than later more 'advanced' pastoralists. As agriculture is supposed to be an advance it is curious that it coincided with poorer quality human devolpment and growth.
  19. That's just what my electric sheep keeps telling me. Maybe it's time i moved off the Alphane moon.
