Using gel ethanol is one of the ways to reduce Green House Gas emissions. As the name suggests, it is ethanol in gel form. It is a project am working on currently. To gel ethanol, one of several methods used is to mix the ethanol with abt 1% calcium acetate ( egg shell in vinegar). hope it helps
