Walking out my front door I could conceivably run into one animal that could kill and eat me within about 100 meters. Stretch that to around one kilometer and you might turn up one more. Killing me is another matter, within that same distance limit you might find three or more capable of actually killing me but not eating me. I'd like to know what species you are talking about and where you live so I can avoid that place. I live near a huge swamp, the animals capable of killing and eating me are alligators and black bears, the animals capable of just killing me are two species of rattlesnake, copperhead, cottonmouth, and very rarely a coral snake. Are you counting insects? How about a list of the dangers you might face?

I am quite sure this is an intentional hoax so better pictures are unlikely.

The Article does touch on that idea but they do not elaborate. Are fossil fuels a one time event on a planet? I know Thomas Gold proposed that oil comes from biology reworking geology and that oil reservoirs slowly refill over time. The modern idea is that geology reworks biology and that oil reservoirs do not refill but some do, abet very slowly. IMHO the further back you go the less likely finding some evidence of Homo reptilia becomes. I don't think any evidence would last over 100,000,000 years of upheaval, continental drift, meteorite impacts, super volcanoes, flood basalts, and the like. A civilization equal to ours is pretty much what the article is speculating about and non human.

The guy who posted this to a UFO news group was so sure everyone here at SFN would see these smudges as inexplicable. Thanks guys...

I honestly have no idea, I was just reporting what he said to me as accurately as i could remember. He did mention that he could hear the dogs all up and down the hollow going nuts too... I'm not sure about the cause but a chain reaction is quite possible.

My brother saw one of those triangle things way before any other reports had come out. He saw it at pretty close range for several minutes and called me within a few minutes of the sighting. He described it to me and I had no idea what he had seen. He lived on the side of a small mountain about halfway down to the valley. He saw the object or it's lights a few seconds before it came over the ridge. He described it as a large black triangle, slow moving. A red light at each corner and a white light in the center. He said it was about 11 pm and he had gone out to feed his dogs. He said the triangle came in just over the treetops at the top of the ridge but stayed at that altitude as it passed over the valley. It was silent but had a weird effect on the dogs who all went nuts. His dogs and everyone else's in the valley. He said the hair stood up on his neck but he said he couldn't tell if it was just fear or a direct effect of the object. It was a very cold clear night, several inches of snow had fallen but the sky was crystal clear at the time of the sighting. He said it appeared to be about the size of a football field and illuminated the snow on the ground quite brightly and the bare treetops at the top of the ridge on both sides of the valley. I may have the details about the color of the lights backwards, this was early to mid 80s, mid winter, very cold and clear air. I know the military regularly uses WV air space to run low level flying drills. I've seen transport craft so low I could see the faces of people leaning out of the aircraft easily, I could even see them smile at us. Only during the day, never at night. His sighting did not resemble any known military aircraft I am aware of...

Oparts are a weird thing for sure. The hammer is bullshit, it's a concretion just a few dozen years old at most but most oparts end up like that when you look close. The only ones that still stand cannot be shown to have been found where they were claimed. Quite a bit like UFOs

That is interesting, I remember reading someplace that bronze statues would last longer than anything else but i often wondered about things like thick polycarbonate plastic or metals like titanium. They do mention that from the perspective of several tens of millions of years that even the ground would be massively displaced, eroded, folded, and covered up to the point that only traces of things like radioactive or chemical pollutants would be present.
