I just received another e-mail notification about the same thread. 3 minutes later I just checked it was 45 minutes...

Ok, as much as I like to poke a conservative with a stick every once in a while i have to agree with this. It's wrong , it's intolerable, partisan media that is! As far as who is doing it best (or worst) I think it depends on your political persuasion, if you are left then it's the right and if you are right it's the left and the further in either direction you go the better "informed" they seem to be about what the other side is doing and how to stop them but no real concept of what they are doing is really affecting the country. I've honestly come to the point where I don't care anymore, it's just wrong, this crap is taking the country places that are fantasy lands, people need to demand this crap stop. The idea that the ends always justifies the means is going to mess us up big time IMHO

For some reason i am getting some double posts from sfn and some time shifted posts some with hours between them way after i have already read them.

It's been my experience that both sides will misdirect and mislead... and sadly, blatantly lie. In my adult life I feel that the right is much worse than the left in fear mongering.... in my adult life, i still remember the old H-bomb in the back round commercial. Someone in these forums mentioned it the other day and some really bad memories came back I would rather not have remembered but today and for quite some time the right has crafted this Unsubstantiated fear idea to the level of an art from. I'm thinking of collecting fear mongering e-mails and doing what i don't yet know, but these things change subtly from election cycle to election cycle, some times changing names some times even parties, it's almost like they have some odd kind of life of their own as little details change from cycle to cycle. Some times one document will be inserted into another or parts of one into another, I think it's a weird phenomenon, apes lie to each other, so do we, we just do it for the "right" reasons... BTW isn't Political Ethics an Oxymoron?

Actually you are incorrect, main belt asteroids are seldom spherical and many Kuiper belt objects are. The shape of these bodies has do with size. The bigger an object is the more spherical is will become under it's own gravity. The largest main belt asteroid, Ceres, is thought to be more or less spherical the next one down in size Pallas and the next Vesta somewhat less so. the smaller they get the less regular their shape is. A Kuiper belt object would need to be of similar size to be spherical.

Well the "Seneca" guns off shore where I live have been active the last few days. Mysterious booms off shore, sometimes accompanied by slight ground shaking. If, for instance, Venus, Earth, and Mars all had active biospheres like the earth does you would have the possibility of something on a higher level than one planet. If the ideas around transfer of materials from one planet to another are correct then you might get all three planets with the same biosphere, it could be called the solar biosphere (for want of a better name) but if each planet had a separate genesis for it's life forms then you would have three biospheres in one solar system. It remains to be seen if there is any other life in the solar system other than the Earth but, if found, it's resemblance (or lack there of) to life on Earth would be very interesting.

While I don't think that every reported post should be acknowledged when it is personal and one person is harassing another by questioning their intelligence, education and their rep points and insinuating their rep points are undeserved I think an acknowledgment is in line. It's an interesting premise and the behavior of the woman is odd. I can't at this time take a side but I have seen much better evidence that some UFOs are alien space craft, at the very least there is much more evidence of aliens than time travelers but UFOs are far more likely to be faked, there seems to be a contest going to see who can make the best fake, not to mention who can debunk anything positive by assuming things, sometimes as far fetched as aliens, to debunk the evidence. I hope this is not the start of a "time traveler" era of hoaxes and debunking to see who can fool who. It's kind of like trying to use the super collider to investigate atoms and having to contend with most of the people faking data to confuse everyone else because they would like to obfuscate the results more than find anything real.

Cypress, even if, and it's a big IF, evolution has inspired people to do terrible things, it would be ridiculously easy to point out terrible things that religion has inspired people to do. What an individual does in the name of something is really not necessarily representative of what that something really is. Religion has in recent times been used to kill, rape, and molest children, do we blame religion or twisted humans? Evolution is real, lots of evidence seems to point natural selection as being the driving force behind it. So far no other driver for evolution has been supported by any evidence what so ever. ID is a joke, creationism is not science but it is pseudo science pure and simple, not because it's impossible but because there is no evidence to support it. ID or creationism has never explained any part of the natural world. every time religion has been used to explain the natural world it has failed miserably. maybe one day evidence for ID or creationism will show up, it's not like people aren't looking, but until then ID has no leg to stand on what so ever. your need for a creator is yours, you're are entitled to it but if you want to support if with anything but faith so far you have failed miserably.
