Jackson, just exactly what do you mean by "impose their preference"? how does simply being gay off base mean imposing their preference on others? I know for a fact that don't ask don't tell is no more than a bad joke, my son was asked and when he refused to say his superiors told on him so his class mates would beat him and they did, unmercifully to make him quit. so don't ask don't tell is bullshit and my son never flaunted his sexuality to his class mates and they asked everyone to sign a affidavit saying they were not gay. He simply refused to lie. And if military personnel are so damn immature they cannot work with someone who is gay then they need to be kicked out with dishonorable discharges. If gays are such a temptation they cannot keep it in their damn uniforms then they should be kicked out just like two heterosexual people who cannot keep it in their uniforms should be. They said the same bullshit about blacks being in the military and guess what it worked out, sharing bathrooms with blacks, unheard of but it worked out and the people who couldn't handle it found themselves out and so it should be. Gays are part of the American public, nothing anyone can do about it, gays are no worse than any other human being and the idea that they should be black listed due who they like to have sex with is outrageous. As for women in the military being a problem, no it's sexist bastards who think all women are nothing but sex objects that are the problem, if you can't work beside a woman with out playing grab ass then you are the problem not the woman. If she can't then she is the problem! Antiquated sexual morality taught by parents to their children is what the problem is, ridiculous religious sexual values that don't make sense, never did really but for sure not now...

First not having insurance is my fault, second a spouse leaving me in hard times while annoying would be a good thing to get rid of some one who really didn't love you to begin with. Personal belongings can be replaced. Me going to jail because I tried to get revenge on someone who cannot be connected to the problem in anyway would be nuts as well. Loosing my job? There are always more jobs, an employer who would fire you because of such a crisis is not worth working for. Revenge? Yes revenge is sweet and so is antifreeze but drinking of it is stupid... I am quite certain that if given the opportunity a great many people would cooperate, probably worship said aliens. I agree whole heartedly, this time of the wing nuts and the extremes have come very close to ruining our country. Nothing gets done, lies are rampant and spread with out a thought if it serves the extremes, fear is the only motivation getting any acknowledgment. If aliens are truly hostile, unless they want to enslave us for some reason, i doubt we would know what hit us. From a nerve type gas suddenly appearing and killing everyone to simply smacking the planet with an asteroid. Truly advanced aliens could probably kill us all with very little effort.... Revenge will do nothing to make you feel better and only cause harm to others. in the long term things that enrage you now will seem like bullshit years down the road. I know, I almost did something terrible once for revenge. i am very glad every time i think of it that i didn't do it and just let it go....

We could probably learn quite a bit by just passively watching using remote sensing. If for instance they had anti gravity of some sort or a force that mimicked that we could learn a lot just by knowing it's possible and by sensing magnetic fields and anything else we were able to detect emanating from the craft.

I thought it was interesting that the Iranian president weighed in on this as comparable to a woman being stoned to death for adultery in his country. Her own daughter was part of the sex for murder scheme and she got time for her participation as well. I'm not sure if the death penalty is anything more than revenge for the victims but this woman did indeed orchestrate a double murder and used her self and her daughter as sex payments, hard to really be sympathetic. I think the current consensus is that the materials that formed the planets was already present when the sun formed. They were produced when other older stars went super nova and the debris from these super nova formed the sun and the planets. I'm not aware of any mechanism that would allow the sun to produce the heavy elements and eject them into orbit around it.
